[Discussion] The secret of Mokuton/Hashirama/Gedo revealed?

Hello Guys,


I did reread the whole manga and there a few things worth mentioning and asking. The secret of Hashirama/Zetsu/Gedo IT etc is a bit out of control.

Lets face the facts :

- Madara creating Zetsu with his Hashirama Clone.

- Oro experementing with Hashirama Cells > Woodrelease Yamato

- Zetsu has hashirama cells/shit clones of Hashirama as mentioned by Madara

- Zetsu is a product of the shinju tree absorbing Victims.

- Victims now are Hashi DNA.

- Whole other Senju clan has no hashilike steroids.

- Naruto touches Zetsu ---> Tree.

Questions :

- Will Hashirama bloom when Naruto touches him?

- Do we have 2 versions of Zetsu? Hashi Clones and IT Victims?

- Only Spiral Zetsu clone of Hashi? The other one a IT Zetsu?

- Hashis relation to IT/The shinju?

- Someone else thinking here this zetsu/hashi/shinju shit is weird?

- People trapped in IT are transforming into Zetsu, but not in a second. So in terms of logic, they should all now have a bit zetsu DNA like your body is dieing parts of your party start to *****. They dont transform in an instant otherwise there is no hope for them =D

6. Depends on how the process works. Right know Kaguya is using the energy of the god tree, so maybe the process really starts when she makes it start. Kinda like kooking a chicken, you can skin it, clean it, season it, but until you turn the heat on its still raw chicken.

It seems that Hashirama has an unusual amount of intel on IT

Zetsu thing is weird cuz they say they are Hashi clones created from Gedo Mazo and now they are IT Victimes... Here is my theory

The Gedo Mazo is the SHELL of the Juubi Right? so maybe that is what will happen A NEW God Fruit/Juubi will arise because if those were IT Victims connected to Mazo then the Mazo is connected with IT and may even be the PRODUCT of IT...

- Do we have 2 versions of Zetsu? Hashi Clones and IT Victims? idk, The naru wiki saids that the WZ army are actually MT victims. Then again anyone could edit the wiki....

- Only Spiral Zetsu clone of Hashi? The other one a IT Zetsu? spiral zetsu is a MT victim, therefore they're both MT victims

- Hashis relation to IT/The shinju? They Just have wood powers ...das it.

- Someone else thinking here this zetsu/hashi/shinju shit is weird? Not really since hashirama is a descendant of kaguya/shinju....

BZ Stated that Madara was fooled into thinking that he created the Zetsu.
Hashirama's flesh, chakra, DNA, or whatever have you, being cultivated to increase the power of Zetsu can be explained that it was just adding more chakra that made them stronger, Asura's strong Yang chakra, to be exact. It wasn't necessarily that it was Hashi's pure DNA boosting his fodder-y clones.

Mokuton is probably Ashura's ability which Hashirama inherited.

I think Mokuton was a Hashirama only feat. What I mean is that if Mokuton was Ashura's ability, wouldn't Naruto have it aswell?

Edit: I just thought that Naruto might be able to use Mokuton if assisted by the elemental chakra of the bijuus.

The correlation would be like this:


The Shinju is made of wood (obviously)

Hashirama has mastered Wood Release (so in a way, he has some kind of mastery over the Shinju)

White Zetsu are a product of the caster of the Infinite Tsukuyomi (who has absorved the Shinju).

So it makes sense for White Zetsu to grow from Hashirama's cells (since his ability has similar properties to that of the Shinju).




Answering to your questions:

- Will Hashirama bloom when Naruto touches him?

I don't think so. Here is my theory:

- White Zetsu are made of wood.
- It seems logical to think that wood, if fed with chakra and/or life force, will beggin to grow in some way.
- So, White Zetsu, if touched by Naruto (who has a huge chakra pool and life force) starts to bloom.

- However, Hashirama is not made of wood, he just releases wood; on top of that, he also has an insane mastery over Mokuton. So he wouldn't bloom if touched by Naruto.

- Do we have 2 versions of Zetsu? Hashi Clones and IT Victims?

No, I think they are pretty much the same:

- I think the people caught in the Infinite Tsukuyomi are just needed as a source of chakra and/or life force, and the Shinjus is needed for the suply of wood (since the are made of wood).
- But Hashirama's cells provide the wood (since Hashirama had wood release) and the Gedo Mazo the chakra and life force, so the White Zetsu created from his cells do not require a human.

- Only Spiral Zetsu clone of Hashi? The other one a IT Zetsu?

It is possible, but hard to prove or disprove.


But I lean more towards them being:

- Spiral Zetsu being created from just Hashirama's cells.
- White Zetsu being created from Hashirama's cells in addition to the Gedo Mazo.

- Hashis relation to IT/The shinju?

I don't think he has any knowledge about the Infinite Tsukuyomi and the Shinju, since otherwise he would have warned about it to the ninja alliance.

What gnaws me is why Hashirama is the only ninja with Mokuton.
