The Secret of Kurama ('yang' & 'yin') & SO6P cloak - Minato gift for Naruto
There were a secret power of Kurama.
(Of which i had said in the past.)
SO6P created 9 bijuu and identified by the number of tails each bijuu had.
It was the last bijuu (Kurama) that was far greater better than the other 8 bijuu.
SO6P had added some of his own powerful 'Chakra' into the last bijuu Kurama.
Just like Minato added some of his and Kushina Chakra into Naruto.
Also when the 6 bijuu pass some of their 'chakra' to Naruto.
Hashimara chosen Kurama and distributed the other bijuu to the other Hidden Villages.
Kurama was unique, because Kurama could sense evil. The other bijuu cannot.
Kurama was the last of the 9 bijuu, SO6P included some of his own Chakra.
This could answer why Minato also had the SO6P cloak.
