Well guys i want make things fast and clear. Firstly, i'm not sure.....it's just one of my theories.
if you closely look at minato he resembles two people. 1. Jiraya 2. Tsunade
Minato has curly hair just like jiraya's and it is yellow which i think resembles tsuenade's hair colour. I think there is a reason why minato became such a strong NINJA inspite of not being part of any fancy clan like the hyuga's or the uchiha's....which could only mean that he comes from a lineage which we don't know, but which is really strong. Eg: Senju!

So that's my theory!
Now you must be wondering how? Tsunade never considered jiraya in that way, she already had a lover! I think it was orochimaru.....Minato being an orphan we can assume that orochimaru tampered with the legendary sanin's cells. He tried using HASHIRAMA's cells, why not the sanins? Later after conducting tests, he would have noticed that the baby was useless and abandoned it.

To be honest, this seems far too elaborate for a Naruto plot. We also know that Yamato was an experiment involving Hashirama's cells, and supposedly one of the only subjects to have survived.

If there is any connection to the Senju, it would likely be a far more mundane one.

I disagree with your second point and agree with your first. Look i told you orochimaru abandoned the kid thinking its useless. After that happened a family adopted him and gave him a name...and **** like that. He grew up to be awesome. Now you expect orochimaru to remember some kid he abandoned because the kid was of no use? HE is basically a mad scientist who has done a lot of experiments, he not gonna remember the one which didn't show any positive results.
Experiments like 'trying to find out if the kid had an affinity to wood style' would have failed or something....
