The Legendary Sannin all trained some very powerful pupils.
Tsunade:
Trained Shizune and Sakura to great medical ninjas and before the timeskip lets admit Sakura wasn't a really good kunochi but after training with Tsunade she has been able to with help from Chiyo put up a good fight against Sasori and Sakura and Shizune also are very good with poisons.
Orochimaru:
Kimimaro,Kabuto and Sasuke three geniuses and talented fighters with Oro's training Sasuke had improved so much in two years being able to solo team 7, and Kabuto Oro's assisstant played a major role in this fourth shinobi war mastering the edo tensei jutsu and blackmailing obito and being able to hold his own against the Uchiha bros and Kimimaro was loyal and while sick was still able to own hundreds of Naruto's kyuubi powered clones in part 1, and hold his own against Drunken Lee and Gaara.
Jiraiya:
Jiraiya has the strongest students he had Minato,Nagato and Naruto. All three of them Children of Prophecy. a prodigy, and Rinnegan wielder/master of all elements at the age of 10.
The Sannin all produced tremendous ninja but Jiraiya produced more powerful students who have had an effect on the ninja world in their own way.
