With what tsunade has shown lately, what do you think about the legendary sannins now? I mean some considered tsunade as the weakest among the 3. That is, oro and jman could be as or more badass than her.

How strong was their team with and without hiruzen as teacher/captain?

When do you think was their primes?

And also, now that i have seen tsunade in a real battle, i think if she went to the hidden rain with jiraiya, they could've defeated pain. What are you're thoughts??

EDIT: If they both went, Idk if they'd win, since they didn't know the Rinnegans secret, and Nagato would just revive his bodies over and over again. Or maybe they would, since while Jiraiya figured out their secret, Tsunade would heal him, and they could've won. Not sure :/

I've always adored Tsunade, I've never understood why people consider her kinda useless D: she's epic.
Honestly, I'd say she's on par with Jiraiya (maybe that's just the fangirlism speaking, but still). Monstrous strength, incredible medical ninjutsu (come on, Orochimaru went to her to have his arms healed xD)...she's brilliant.

I do think that if she went along with Jiraiya, they could have taken down Pein. Though I also think one of them would have died in the process :x

of course they would of won with low difficulty, pain even stated that if frog man had known his weakness. he would of died

Considering Pain marveled at Jiraiya's strength saying he could have beaten him had his secret's been revealed from the start, I would say it's possible. But I still don't know if they could pull it off, given the fact that Pain has Chibaku Tensei, and the Gedo Mazo.

I will say this, Tsunade has shown great feats in her recent screen time against Madara, given they're all dead, but that's only because Madara is hacked and the main villain in the story right now. She has more speed than I would have given her credit for before her fight with Madara, along with a few new techniques that really prove she has what it takes to roll with the big dogs.

In conclusion I would say, yes they could defeat Pain together, but it's possible that either one or both of them die in the process. Pain is a beast.

Well evaluated. Though i think pain is not bad enough to destroy the sannin together with his fellow villagers. He's quite resonable and kind hearted if madara did not brainwash him. Haha
