this is how great the Sannin are

i mean Obito is minato's studen ( who is jiraiya student lol )
Kabuto who was one of the strongest characters ever was Oro student same with Sasuke

respect for the sannin and without jiraiya naruto and minato will be fodders and this will lead Obito to be a super fodder

not top ten, but definitely top fifteen to twenty. guys like kakashi,muu,tobirama, second mizukage, third raikage, itachi, the sannin etc are all around the same level and none of them enter my top ten, and Izuna Uchiha might be above them, then there's Oonoki and Gaara. in short top eleven to thirty is anythign but clearcut imo, since we've seen really little of some characters yet what they're capable of should place them very highly

Jiraiya is usually underestimated. Tsunade and Orochimaru are usually rated pretty correctly.

People seriously underrate Jiraiya taking out the 3 Paths without any knowledge and took out a 4th after losing his arm(granted the other 3 were revived prior to him taking out the 4th, but whatever).

As far as them being in top 10s and all that? I dunno. I don't think you can really do an accurate "top 10/20/whatever", too many differences between characters.

A guy made a thread about Tsunade vs Kankuro and he said Kankuro defeats her low diff.
And another guy said Zabuza > Orochimaru.

They are underrated.

I agree that they are underrated, but you know people have different views of how they see the characters.
Some may believe that " ERMAHGERD! Amazing jutsu! He's top one to me! " or " Wow, I didn't know he related to me, he MUST be top 5. "

Those sort of perceptions lead others to think others are weak because of these and that, and yet look at all the Sannins combined.
You've got Tsunade's huge tits, and her amazing cellular level healing secret jutsu. ( not to mention her insane chakra control )
You've got an old pedophile, whose ability NOT only echos from his range of knowledge, but also his abilities in jutsus. ( with a near immortal body )
You've got a pervert, who NOT only can adapt in his battle but also known ( now ) for introducing sage mode. ( which took out THREE unknown enemies n that moment ).

Combined, people don't think they're a power to be reckoned with. Whichever the reason is, I really don't care since all logic seems to exit when it comes to fanboyism so you can't do anything about that lol.

They all are definitely underrated. They definitely weren't in their prime when they fought Hanzo, Jiriaya hadn't even learned the rasengan at that point, and who knows if he was even capable of sage moda. In Sage Mode, Hanzo would have been done in no time. He was the top dog during his time, but was surpasses by all 3 sannin individually by the time naruto was born. Orochimaru didn't truly reach his prime until after he left Konoha and began conducting his own experiments and jutsus. One cannot put itachi on top 10 and not put Jiriaya. Itachi and Kisame decided no to fight Jiriaya even though they were more than willing to take Kakashi and kill Asuma. Also, people have to realize that no one knew anything about Pain's abilities before the Jiriaya fought him (excluding Tobi). Had Jiriaya known the truth about the 6paths of pain, I'm almost certain the fight would have gone another direction. He wouldn't have wasted chakara if he had known the capabilities of who he was fighting and the fact that all but one of them were already dead.

it is quite obvious that the sannin got stronger from the time they fought hanzo i bet he lost to pain pretty easy and jiraya originally took out 3paths then he took another one out after they were bought back thats 4he most likely could of won if it was not for him being baffled by the fact that the 3he had just killed was right back
