Before the dawn of time, an ancient deity sat alone in the void. He grew lonely and longed for company. The ancient deity split his soul into three pieces. With the first piece, he created the god Archeaus. With the second piece, he created the goddess Divitia. He told the god and goddess to make creations of their own to fill the void. Archaeus created the planets and stars. Divitia created the moons. The ancient was pleased with their creations but felt that there was more to be made. He told Archaeus and Divtia that he would use the last piece of his soul for his final creation and instructed them to take care of the universe in his absence. The god and goddess agreed to watch the universe and with the last piece of his soul, the ancient created life on the planets.
* The Sanctuary *
Hello and welcome to the Sanctuary. The Sanctuary is a place for Archaens and Divitians to live, learn, and discover new things. Inside the Sanctuary you will find many wondrous and mystical things.
Getting started
First, we will have to know if you are an Archaen or a Divitian.
• Archaen
Archaens worship the god Archaeus. Archaens are loving and kind-hearted. Archaens love the Sun and prefer warm summer weather. Archaens have many friends and love to socialize.
• Divitian
Divitians worship the goddess Divitia. Divitians are quiet and mysterious. Divitians love the night and only expose themselves to moonlight. Divitians prefer their privacy but are known to be social time to time.
Once you have chosen your creed, you will need to choose your class. Are you a priest/priestess or a magi?
• Priest/priestess:
Priests and priestess live to worship their god. They are often the leaders in their group of friends. Priests take care of the sick and wounded. Priests are peaceful but they defend themselves if they have to.
≈Priest/priestess abilities:
- Healing wounds
- Curing poisons
- Curing diseases
- Smite: Priest/priestess use their holy gift to push back enemies
- Seal: Priest/priestess use their holy gift to temporarily seal their enemies
- Walk with the Light (Archaen only): Priests/priestess summon the powers of Archaeus and can grant immortality for 30 seconds
- Into the Shadows (Divitian only): Priests/priestess are granted Divita’s powers for 30 seconds and transform into their goddess to raise the dead from their grave
• Magi
Magi are powerful wizards who harness the powers of the elements to cast powerful spells. Magi are dedicated to studying and reading. Magi are often more rambunctious than priests and priestess.
≈Magi abilities:
- Archaen Magi use earth, fire, and water spells
- Divitian Magi use lightening and air spells.
Now that you have picked your class, you are free to roam the Sanctuary. Here is a map of the grounds.
Map
Grand Hallway: Everyone starts out in the Grand Hallway. It is filled with tall columns and great windows. The Grand Hallway leads into the Commons.
The Commons: The Commons is a place for everyone to socialize. There are chairs, tables, and couches for people to sit. In the center of the room there is a large fireplace. From the inside the Commons you can go to the Library, Training Arena, or the Dining Hall.
Library: The Library is a quiet place for people to read and study. At the end of the Library there is a door that opens to a dirt path. Divitians can follow the path to the Temple of Divita.
Training Arena: In the Training Arena, magi can practice their spells. Make sure you bring a priest with you to heal your wounds! At the end of the Training Arena is a door that opens to a stone path. Archaens can follow the path to the Shrine of Archaeus.
Dining Hall: Here people can indulge themselves in the finest foods. Simply write what you would like to eat in the Book of Cuisine and like magic, your meal will appear!
