Whilst rereading last weeks chapter, I realised something quite interesting from it.
Remember this page from the most recent chapter?
Madara explains to Obito, the Sage's power to 'connect' those around him by spreading his chakra to them, so that they can understand each others hearts without even having to speak to each other.
And as we have seen already, Naruto has already demonstrated that when he distributed his Kyuubi chakra to the Alliance and they are all working together against Madara:
All stuff you've heard before, right? Well here comes the part I found interesting. Where else have we heard about manipulation of the soul or 'connecting' other than from Naruto?
Yes, oddly enough from Madara with his ability to materialise his will.
It's not as wide spread as the Sage and Naruto's ways of distribution but at the same time it is pretty similar as he has used it on both Nagato and Obito which caused them to both commit these two massacres:
As we can see from both of these panels, Nagato and Obito both acted the way they did because of Madara's will being infested in them. Really sounds like the Sage's and Naruto's abilities now doesn't it?
I found it interesting because it makes this technique questionable. What we believe to be manipulation from Madara, can the ways of the Sage and Naruto also be considered as manipulation?
This basically proves that Madara is indeed a parallel to the Sage and Naruto because of the similarity in which they perform their methods, but opposites in their beliefs.
Summary:
-The Sage's way of 'connecting' not only links to Naruto buys also Madara
-Madara is basically the dark version of the Sage
-This is his 'interpretation' of two forced coexisting with each other.
