Madara stated that true peace can only be achieved when the cooperation of Yin and Yang is met. He was correct, however he failed to see the real meaning behind his own words, he believes that the way to peace is when one person combined of Yin and Yang takes the power and control. However, the real meaning is: That the way to peace is the mutual understand and friendship between Yin and Yang, namely the Uchiha and Senju.

If everyone where to understand and treasure peace more than anything in the world, then peace would come. But nothing lasts forever.

Not if there is someone around to sustain that peace every time its about to break down. Each era of peace may end, but it can be restarted the exact moment it ends.

He is not walking the same path as Hagoromo. He walking the opposite path actually, however using the same methods, only with different ideals.

Madara is really bad, he just has another point of view. Then again, that can be said about anyone. Good and bad are both subjective, so both Naruto and Madara can be considered bad.

What i am saying is that the Sage was not able to achieve peace, and madara is not following his footsteps but is merely a part of Hagoromo's grand scheme. he is blaming the Sage's initial ideals, not his final.

The sage himself gave up, and that is where Naruto will surpass him.
