The conversation and power up from the Sage to Naruto and Sasuke was a true testament of his power.

The fact that he was able to give 50% of his power to Naruto and Sasuke as well as view the history of his son's reincarnations tells us two things.


He used Space/Time Ninshuu

His Fuuinjutsu skills are unreal.


Perfect example of this is when Minato sealed a piece of himself inside Naruto in the even the nine tails got loose. We notice that Minato was unable to seal his entire power into Naruto and he was very limited on time. This shows us that when someone seals away themselves in this manner they are very limited to there abilities.

So back to my point:

The Sage Strength can no longer be measured by feats of Madara, Obito, or any other shinobi currently and here is why:

On his death bed (His weakest state) he did the following:

Split the Juubi into 9 beast and sealed the body into the moon
Created two Fuuinjutsu Space/Time entities that were both strong enough to = the power of the next Sage(Madara)
Will and conscience that lasted through the ages and strong enough to give the powers mentioned above.
