The Naruto manga has become pretty predictable, but I am not complaining. I'm still a big fan of the series. Now, there has been some wild theories stating that Naruto is going to slaughter Sasuke and kill him in their final fight. Most people tend to underestimate Sasuke for that matter like always. I believe that outcome would too predictable if so as it would go against the Sage's wishes.
The SO6P clearly explained the history of his family, especially the history of his two sons. He felt guilty and saddened for his mistakes. He took away Indra's birthright and gave it to Asura, thinking the older brother would follow his choice, but he was wrong. Since this decision was made, Indra and Ashura's descendants, including their reincarnations fought against one another. The Sage neglected his older son as the youngest son became his favorite, and he regreted it.
Now, think about it. Naruto represents Yang and Sasuke represents Yin. Without Yin and Yang, there is no balance. Hashirama believed in this method. He believed with him and Madara after finding the Leaf, they could create balance within the world and create true peace, but Madara still went his own way.
If people have been paying attention to the history of the Sage's family, especially his sons, they would notice what Kishi is working for. Yes, Sasuke and Naruto will probably battle for the Hokage seat. But Hokage or not, I believe that they'll become the world's salvation and bring peace. They will be the push the world needs.
Now, for those of you who do not understand: Why would Kishi make Sasuke the FV and results in Naruto getting his Dojutsu, when Naruto would be garbage from lack of experience, so he can become the Sage himself? If Kishi kills off Sasuke then everything he has worked for and explained would be a total failure. The same thing as of now would just happen again. There will be another Madara and the Indra vs Asura war would just keep repeating.
Thus, ending the war of the reincarnations and creating balance and true peace, this series would finally have closure. Naruto and Sasuke will be the true saviors and the Sage can finally put his mistakes to rest. Tell me what you think and please be honest. No character bashing or flaming.
