When I state origin I mean that he is the pinnacle, center. I do not mean that he begat all the current clans (that they originated from him). It's been stated that the two main clans that came from him are the Uchiha and Senju (which we all obviously know). The remaining clans were developed from the ancestors of the people that the Sage taught what chakra was and how to use it when he traveled around the world. They passed it down from generation to generation, creating clans along the way. Thus, the current time being the end result.

Also, The Uzumaki Clan were distant blood relatives of the Senju Clan. Dealing with this particular piece of evidence can go either way. But personally, I believe that the Uzumaki Clan branched off the Senju Clan.. Not Vice-versa. If it was Vice-versa, then it would have been stated that the Uzumaki and Uchiha are decedents of the Sage and his sons, not Senju and Uchiha. Just IMO

All in all, the Sage of Six Paths is the Origin of all the clans. After all this was stated by Jiraiya and a few others, that he was the founder of the Ninja World. Also, there is a bit more evidence pointing to this fact.. but I'm sure it's pretty obvious.

You're right, they do have relation to the second son because they are in relation to the Senju. However another point that I would like to point out was that the Uzumaki wasn't ORIGINALLY a combative clan. The Senju were however.

I think you skipped over the portion where I stated as him being the origin was not meant to mean the he begat them.(Begat mean came from, decend from, etc). But the ancestors of the remainder outside of the Senju and Uchiha were taught the ninja way by him.

You're right, their choices indirectly caused more harm than good. They accomplished an evolved form of warfare which in turn damaged the NV more so. Many thought that the SO6P Power originated from himself, as a being from a powerful clan or lineage but the former proved to be true instead.

Confusion creates destruction and more confusion. But, on the other hand.. I don't think we would have much of a series to read if Kishi didn't develop the fact that the SO6P did what he did instead of sacrificing himself to the Juubi to appease it.
