I know both are TERRIBLE, but the first one is less painfuller... At least you knew love.

if your gonna do the age thing lets see what age was haku when his daddy kill his mom and tried to kill him and then who knows how long he was on the street starving in winter

gaara was like the same age when the attacks started going down then his own uncle yea

nagato close as well

then itachi he died at like 26 so for 13 or 14 years he lived with what he had done bearing down on him for that long

He did indeed have it bad. Horrible really, and I feel more for him than anyone else in this manga, bar Sasuke, who had the saddest backstory and suffered most in my opinion. And unlike people who like to say Naruto, Gaara and whoever else had it worse, suffering isn't something that can be compared. His suffering just doesn't come off as bad, because unlike those others, he endured. He didn't go insane, and he didn't externalize his pain.

you are ignoring the facts by picking and choosing what you want to believe. Itachi had to to kill his clan and kill his parents infront of his little brother he had no choice in the matter. btw naruto was 12 and had iruka sence he was at least 9. naruto's story is sad in the begining and just that now hes a hero. to most of the village that he loved itachi is still the bad guy
