The saddest death of the series was............

Itachi, Jiraiya, Neji, Hiruzen, Nagato, Gaara, Obito [presumed death], Kisame, Minato & Kushina. I found all of them sad... Chiyo below suggested, exceptions being Hiruzen and Neji.

Minato & Kushina was a flashback death , although it was very sad i don't count it as part of the on going story .

Chiyo was old , so there was no sadness in her death.

OT: Konan for me , it hurt me .

Kakashi's "death" was way sadder than that old *****'s death. Chiyo was like 120, was gonna die soon anyway lol how are you gonna feel sad about that? Chiyo didnt even matter, she was introduced to the series as a fodder character just to die.

I'd say the saddest was probably Minato/Kushina

I put quotes around Kakashi's "death" because he died during the pain arc, only to be revived by the dragon balls-- I mean by Nagato's rinne tensei jutsu.
