The Forum of Augustus, finished in the year 2 BC, was built as a temple to honor the Roman deity Mars and to provide another space for legal proceedings. Augustus himself had promised to build the forum 40 years earlier during the battle of Philippi, but its construction did not begin until the year 20 BC.
The Forum Augustum was a grand structure and among other things it housed a rich tapestry of different statuary. 108 portrait statues filled the halls, each one of them carrying inscriptions of the individual’s achievements. Some scholars consider it the first Hall of Fame.

A Hall of Fame is defined as a type of attraction for any field of endeavor to honor individuals of noteworthy achievement in that field. At the time of writing it has been more than seven years since NarutoBase first saw the light of day and the site is still going strong. The role-play, in particular, has defied all odds and persevered, perhaps even flourished under the caring hands of an engaged Staff and an ever-changing motley crew of role-players, all of whom dedicate countless hours to the site, some in more visible ways than others.
The role-play was not built in a day. What began as a daring venture by a few young souls has bloomed into the role-play we know today. There have been bumps in the road and while everyone has pitched in there are and were some among us who stood out. Some were fierce and respected fighters, others leaders and administrators. All were respected for their deeds.
Those who still walk among us are often considered the crème de la crème, the top of the line, if not for their prowess in battle then for their dedication. It is these people, old as young, that we honor and remember in this, our own Hall of Fame. The Grand RP Hall of Fame:

NOTE: Some members used a standardized questionnaire to structure their responses. Thus, when a member uses numbers to mark their answers they are usually answering these questions:
1) What motivated him/her to excel in the RP?
2) What made him/her great? (which factors contributed the most towards their growth, etc)
3) Could you formulate a single sentence that describes this person? A kind of quote that embodies them and their ideals?

Scary Yamato, the Sage of Wood
Naruto is a series intended primarily for young adults and the members of NarutoBase reflect that. Many of the members joined when they were fairly young and while the passing years have allowed for a growing core of adult veterans to develop the majority of the members are still, well, children, and sometimes communication reflects that in a not entirely positive manner. Scary Yamato (SY) was one of the adults, in every sense of the world. There was always an aura of patience and wisdom about him. SY was always willing to lend a hand and in battle his mastery of Mokuton was unrivaled.

Here is what some members have said about Scary Yamato:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
One of the oldest rpears, oldest senseis and master user of Wood Release. The official Sage of Wood. Former moderator. He was an example on how to be a sensei and how to act maturely and otherwise "be a nice guy" in the base. A role model as a member and an rpear. Close Combat expert, he was also very well versed in all mainstream fields of jutsu and other arts.
Erzo said:
Scary Yamato is probably one of the easier ones to do when it comes to these hall of Fame things considering how well known he is, but I thought I'd mention him anyway and give my own personal reason as to why he's so awesome. As a newbie member, you make a lot of mistakes and most times people just say ''hey thats wrong!'' and carry on with their business. But SY went out of his way to help me (can't remember what the issue was exactly), and that itself makes him quite honourable, assisting someone who could have not logged in the next day and nobody would have known he was even there. Putting aside his mod-ship, he was an exceptional character and as his name states he was one of, if not the biggest Yamato fans. Holding that Mokuton biography for as long as I've been RPing, making CJs, and a CE which work well with Mokuton easily making him a specialist in that region. Alongside his skills, he had the attitude which made it a pleasure to talk and battle with him. SY has always been an easy addition to the hall of fame.

A mentor to most RPers back in the day and arguably the greatest wood user in the history of NB. His wood customs made it become a powerful element to use back in the day and his customs are even passed down and used by wood users today.
The Pervy Sage said:
SY was a kind hard working sensei/mod but he was most known for his amazing use in wood jutsu and probably cause he never changed his avatar. He would help anyone he could even though he didn't have time but he was a very creative ninja and like i said he played the part of Yamato so well, you couldn't rp better as him if you tried. He was a great sensei, mod and friend.
Jokey said:
SY, one of the nicest person that I have probably met through the internet. He was a humble, helpful and a caring person. This guy basically cared about the base. The thing about SY was that he treated everyone equally, no matter who or what you are. I once betrayed basically every village, I was hated through the whole base but guess who always was in for a chat and did not care, SY. Back in 2012 I took the sensei test, and Ragnaroc sent me a PM that I utterly failed so a few hours later I was like nah, I killed this test so I PM'ed SY and asked him if he could grade it... and boom, passed with flying colors. He always saw potential in you, no matter who you were and that's what he saw in me, and many other members that became some pretty awesome RP'ers.
Jinbei said:
1) If there's one thing that motivated him to excel in anything he did, it was his uncanny need to make sure everyone was having fun - be it himself, his opponent or the large number of people who would often allow themselves a peek at his battles or stories.
Another prominent catalyst for his greatness was his ability to bring forth all of his student's potential; he had a knack for getting the best out of anyone he came into contact with and without a doubt, that was something he unwaveringly tried to do for all within his reach.
2) I have yet to know someone who wasn't thrilled when faced with the prospect of battling him. That alone is purely his merit, for he turned everything he participated in into a spectacle worth watching. In a period of the RP where avoiding as many techniques as possible while nuking from the distance was the standard method of battle, he deliberately took damage, fought in close-range and innovated in numerous ways.
That small sample I just used was what characterised SY; completely unpredictable, witty choices that derived in new aspects of battle. His mastery of Wood Release is still unrivalled, yet his usage of it inspired others to follow in his footsteps to become better. He single-handedly made Mokuton relevant.

Despite this, I firmly believe his biggest asset was his will to extend a hand to anyone who asked for it. He would go out of his way, regardless of how much mod or sensei work awaited him, to show a new member how to start out and get the hang of the RP. It is, by that aspect of him, that I wish everyone remembers him.
3) "If you want to see the true measure of a man, watch how he treats his inferiors, not his equals."

Izuna Uchiha, the Sage of Water
Izuna Uchiha was the Sage of Water for a reason. He chose his element with care and stuck to its use religiously throughout his role-play career, creating many custom techniques and elements related to the element over the years. Izuna possessed many extremely strong techniques at the apex of his power, many so strong that he wondered if the system that approved them was as refined as it could be. Indeed, Izuna helped create many of the rules and traditions that today help restrict extreme power differentials and foster a moderate Customs Section.

Here is what some members have said about Izuna Uchiha:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
Water Sage, renown for his complex strategies and combos with Water Release. EIG Master, MS user and overal close combat expert. Former mod that set the foundations for the current custom jutsu system. One of the oldest roleplayers and senseis.
Lord of Kaos said:
He was so Oped...like he's the cause of a lot of restrictions now. He co-created and helped with many CE before the 4 CE limit got placed; reached the theoretical speed of the 20th+ gate Which made speed boosts and mode limited; and his water usage just used to break the scale. He had this jutsu called 4 Chakra Implosion (4CI), where he sealed all elements except water and it gained a crazy increase in damage and his speed too. Later, he began to work on balancing the RP more and even stopped using most of his customs and creating rules to prevent people from reaching that level again, even himself, which was cool. He beat the original water Sage, Hellsbadass and became the new, official one and it showed with his custom MS being water based. He had the Eight Gates as well and was pretty good in Taijutsu and Kenjutsu, creating the short lived NB Kenjutsu back then and a two time holder of the Water Goddess sword, a truly scary sight as he went undefeated with it, losing it only through inactivity
1) His main goal was to become the beat water user and to be OPed while doing it lol but he did always express the notion that we have fun while fighting. He was a troll and it reflected if you every talked to him and he'd joke around and make soooo many innuendoes. He came in around the same time as Goro, and Roku and Akira I think and the group were so close, they bounced and pushed one another to get stronger together. Don't see that much now
2) His defining trait is definitely his water usage. Even with canons, he was pretty Damn good at making combos that made you like "Hold up, gimme a few hours" when you read them. A strategy of his used to be to start by raising his water damage and then going to the point where his speed far outstripped yours and attack up close with massive water jutsu and taijutsu. With his Sharingan Bio it was worse because he could then sense your chakra, react better and string better combos. By the time I joined, he had just become a Sensei so I didn't see his actual rise but reading old threads showed me he used to fight with only water for a while, something and recently others emulated to get better.
3) A quote he told me was: "The Rp is just like a series of mountains; when you are training and getting stronger, you're still climbing a mountain. Eventually you get to a mountaintop and realize a new goal can be reached, maybe a CE, maybe MS, or something else. Once you get it, you enjoy the point of being at the top but all you can think about is the climb up the mountain and the next mountain to climb. Being OPed isn't fun; the mountain peak gets smaller and it's boring and lonely at the top, but we still all make that climb, trying to get there until we make it. And just want to climb again"
The Pervy Sage said:
Tactical Genius. Izuna was always 3 moves ahead of you in a fight no matter what you did he knew had a plan set up to counter and kill. I failed my sage test to him as we had 3 unique fights and in each one I couldn't keep up. I'm not just talking jutsu here, he was the member who inspired me to start using kunais as an effective way to set up a trap. But what he was most known for was his use of water jutsu. He was by far the best water user on base and he was so dedicated to the element he even made his custom MS based on water. He never got his hands on my water expansion though xd if he came back I'd give it to him though. He was kind, hard-working, trained some of the best rpers and was a hard working mod working day in day out to keep the cj thread flowing and implementing a more role play style of fighting rather that back and forth jutsu.
Jokey said:
Izuna, waterman. I always kinda saw Izuna as the brother of SY. If you gave him some input of the RP, village (Konohagakure times) and training methods he would always take it into consideration and actually do something with it. I had one fight against him, back in Konoha. He was too much. xD

Goro Kaguya, the Sage of the Forbidden Arts
Goro role-played because it was fun. A master of Taijutsu and the Shikotsumyaku he always strived for a fun experience. Goro was a Sensei, a Moderator and a scary opponent. He treated all his opponents in the same, larger-than-life manner, always opting to engage in close combat. He was eccentric, sometimes borderline weird, but he was never the instigator of drama or rivalry, always taking great care to remain jovial and helpful. Many role-players owe at least a portion of the abilities they possess and their fighting prowess to Goro.

Here is what some members have said about Goro Kaguya:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
Sage of Forbidden arts and renown for his sheer power. Any way you wanted to look at it, Goro was epic in power and skills. Earth and EIG Master and Kinjutsu Expert, he was also a feared Kaguya user and a Fuuin tactician. Former sensei and moderator.
Lord of Kaos said:
Aww man, Goro, G, Mr.G, etc. Probably my favorite sensei with Roku close behind. Goro was a naturally fun and loving guy. Nice all around, always up for a hand to hand fight, and eventual RP Mod. He was one of the oldest Kaguya Members who inspired a craze of members to take the test in his day, including me, Daemon, Alucard, and Mugi. He was known for treating all members the same in battle, attacking with a strong fist and a swift kick. He was also a leading pioneer of the Bleach RP, starting as a member of the New Gotei 13, the captain of a hand to hand division and later becoming the Tercera Espada behind the original Madara and Bibi, soon becoming a RP Mod for Bleach and then Naruto. His Tai skill was crazy but simple; he wouldn't confuse you witness various angles and degrees. He'd detail it clearly how his fist slammed in your head and sent you flying backwards with missing teeth. From a time when EIG could be combined with Kaguya bios, it made close range scary against G and don't let him start using CE. And dear God, he was a Roach. It took forever to fully kill him, he had at least 4 lives on his Kaguya Bio and 6 on his Kakuzu with EIG Bio (Yes, he had that). He was a master of double edged techs, not fearing death if it meant you died too. He was Also a long time member of the Akat, wielding the Taijutsu ring for a loooonnnggg time.
1) Unlike Izuna, Goro was into Earth big time. It was his favorite element and behind Tai, it was his most used field. However, he didn't want to be known as the best Earth user, feeling that was his Sensei BishamonSama. He didn't even want to be acknowledged as Best Kaguya user, feeling that was Skye Kaguya. He was more interested in having fun, as much fun as possible.
Whether that came from a taijutsu fight, or through riding villages, G was there to live it. I think his biggest goal was simply to be on the "God" tier of shinobi like Roku. Dont get me wrong, Goro was OPed as hell but few ever touched Roku's level.
2) His skill, combined with his niceness and the contrast of his RP persona just made you want to like Goro. He wasn't a rude person and went out his way to help people; the first time I met him was when he VMed me telling me a sh mission of mine wasn't going to get approved due to my rank and the nature of the jutsu and even gave a tip on how to fix it. He taught me Tai and took me on the road of using close ranged fighting, helping me achieve my goal of being a great Tai user in my own right and helped so many other Tai or Kaguya users back then. Even if he wasn't OPed or good, I think he'd still be remembered for his likeability alone. That's not to count his skills out though; he destroyed me in almost every taijutsu fight in both Naruto and Bleach RP. He was a nice fan of forbidden fields and arts, hence the name. EIG, Kinjutsu, multiple forbidden ranked jutsu, etc. His growth itself was before my time but from Sensei to sage to Mod, he was incredible.
3) Goro often made his students do unorthodox trainings and methods; what I mean by this is he made us do a hell of a lot of Weird and sometimes borderline gay stuff lol. But it was all for fun, that's what I remember most about him - he loved having fun!
If there's one thing to sum Goro up, it'd be: "Ello Gov'nor" it was like a catchphrase of his.
Axle said:
one of my old students T_T. This guy right here has made me so happy at the way he's dominated people with his aggressive taijutsu techniques and relentless pressure he would put on you.
The Pervy Sage said:
Powerhouse. I fought him two years back in the thunderdome and i gave it everything I had. MS, custom sage mode, all my elements and I couldn't keep up. He was using Kisame with gates and well, it was my best fight I ever had on NB. He trained some of the best rpers on here but one stands out for me is, back then in that epic fight, I messed up and he just wanted to continue as a fight is about fun, not winning. He inspired me with the others to follow the rp style I follow now, sticking to the character, using weapons, staying in character, not scarred to take a hit. He was wise, skilled and as you can tell by his current Madara bio he has the skills to back up the bio.
Jokey said:
Ah, Old Akatsuki team member. I once got paired with him in the Akatsuki, and it didn't last long. This man himself is the known legend of OPness. His brute strength and savage manner of dealing with his opponents, damn. Goro was also my very first sensei along with Akiza and Alucard. Goro trained me in Fire till A-Ranks and man, how confusing I was. But he kept training me, he didn't care whether I was a noob or not, he kept being patient and humble. Oh, I once had a spar with him. I died in two turns.

The Pervy Sage
The Pervy Sage is s household name on NarutoBase. Everyone knows him, everyone has spoken with him. Some members of the older generations have had a slight tendency to associate with their own, but to Pervy every new member was a friend to be made. He was always confident in his abilities and through many years of toiling he acquired an impressive arsenal of abilities and techniques that allowed him to engage in the exciting, story-driven battles that he has invited so many to participate in. To Pervy there was merit to competition, to the sport of fighting, but he knew the important thing was to have fun.

Here is what some members have said about The Pervy Sage:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
A dedicated sensei like few before him, Pervy was also renown for having a high number of different skills. In the pinacle of his RP career he had even attained the MS and a Nagato Bio. However, these were never his main attributes. Sage Mode and elemental combos was his main fighting style. Not that he didn't master and skillfully used everything else. It was just that he used Sage Mode and simple 5 elemental ninjutsu like few could with equal levels.
Axle said:
Another old mate however I never fought him. His Jiraiya bio is his signature bio to me however his Natsu bio brings fear into people's hearts. He's also very good at the RP and loves to fight for the story instead of just to win.
~xtsukune~ said:
What to say about him, he's one of the most honest fun loving guys ever. And his RP style surely shows it the fact that he stays in character and hardly ever breaks the mold of what his characters specialties are is amazing and I wish I had that level of commitment to make a bio centered around a few things and essentially not use anything else. I remember all the craziness that could ensue from him when he was paired up with some of his friends, like when he and Ali destroyed Konoha together xD I'll leave it on this he really is the embodiment of the pervy sage. Fun and loving. But also wickedly strong.
Jokey said:
My worst enemy. I despised him, to be very honest. The very first day that he joined we had a quick spar which turned out in a loss for him. I killed him in one move, a few spars after that were pretty much the same but damn, how this guy turned into a beast? I guess it was six months after he joined that he completely humiliated me. ''How the...'' was my first reaction. We fought many times afterwards, I kept losing and my hate towards him began to grow until it escalated. One day Pervy made a thread about how weak I am and stuff. And that's where I gave it back to him hundred folds. Some of you might remember, but I had this long ass post written about him and everyone was like ''Oooooh burn Pervy''. But the stuff about that enemies can turn friends real quick was quite true. Pervy quickly turned into a role model for many people. MS, Sage mode, Natsu, Caramel and destroying Konoha and many other strong RP fighters at that time. Now that he came back he once again showed how great he actually used to be, and still is. Shout out to this guy for being one of my biggest rivals and friend.

RokuNR, the Sage of Music
Roku and his creations were the standard to which everything else was held. He was the first official Sage, created the first Custom Clan and has arguably held the title as the most powerful battler on Narutobase for years. Roku was NB’s Librarian, the keeper of knowledge: his level of understanding about chakra, energy and the philosophy of his Kiyoshi Clan were awe-inspiring and where he went a horde of fans, followers and fellow Kiyoshi members followed without question. There was something otherworldly about Roku; many never spoke with him, but those that had the privilege of knowing him or reading his work never failed to be impressed.

Here is what some members have said about RokuNR:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
One of the few first generation roleplayers to still be active in the base. He is also one of the oldest members of the staff, being the current oldest rp mod. Founder of the first Custom Clan as he became the First Official Sage, Roku created a bar by which all other custom clans are measured ever since and all have been found lacking in comparison. He has a great focus in philosophy and knowledge more than in battle. However, he is widely accepted as one of the most powerful and skilled role players to have ever been in the rp, easily taking for himself a spot in the top 3. He often takes students under his wings which end up becoming noticeable figures in the rp later on. In terms of abilities, he has a Kiyoshi bio, his CC, with all its amazing abilities as well as nearly rivaling Izuna in Water Release (don't you remember they were rivals? he was to be the Water Sage but was bested in water by Izuna). He created Music Arts and an amazing CE, nearly legendary at this point: Sunfire.
Lord of Kaos said:
This lazy guy here. Roku can best be described as the God of Shinobi of NB. Not only was he the God of NB, he could call down other Gods at his whim. Zeus, Hades, Apollo, etc. All anytime he wanted. Back during the old Sage system, he was the Fire, Water subordinate Sages and the Music Sage answer then when the official Sage system came out, he was the first one to be crowned as well as creator of the oldest CC, Kiyoshi. He was the music Sage because of a series of broken customs called Music Arts. Based on Greek mythology, the Music Arts let me induced a large range of shit against people. A single whistle that paralyzes you, another that present C ranks and higher from being used, a strum of a lyre that summons you to a mythical world called Apollo's Grief, etc. To fight him was to know true despair as no matter what you did, he likely had a counter for it. Just as he was known for all of this, he was Also revered as NB's librarian, giving many history lessons on the old ways of NB and the philosophy of chakra, something he really studies and understood.
1) Roku was a peculiar one; he liked to speak to people yet was often introspective. Sure, he'd talk to you about life, school, the RP, etc. but you could always tell he knew more than he let on. It's hard to fully determine what Roku wanted to accomplish in the Town, but outside it, I secretly think he wanted to win every fanfic contest. Guy won so many times, I'm starting to wonder where he holds the trophies to be honest.
2) Strong, near mythical strength, and a Scorps like level of understanding of the RP. While many can say they have these things, it's never been truer for Roku. He passed his Sensei test in like 3 or 4 moves without using all elements and fields; first Sage; oldest CC; old creator and leader of the Bleach RP: etc. Almost every fields of the RP has been touched by Roku lmao. His influence just spanned everywhere.
3) The number one thing that will always be remembered of Roku is "What the heck does NR stand for?" Like this has plagued us for YEARS. It got to the point that he said even he forgot. Secretly, I think it stands for "Never Replying", which sums up his training habits perfectly. I haven't seen a reply to our training Since 2011 and I think Kiyoshi have been waiting since 2012.
Axle said:
In my own opinion the Michael Jordan of NB. This guy one-shotted me before one-shots were even a thing lol. He also had own of the most dominant clans of NB who reigned supreme before the rise of the Nekura in the past couple of years and even then, who is to say what would happen if Roku was still on and improving the clan today?
~xtsukune~ said:
This guy was known as the professor Sarutobi of the site I knew him I'd say fairly well at least we'll enough to make a paragraph in his honor. Roku was eccentric and fun, he bursted with creativity and had a love for RPing in a calm fashion. He taught me water for a while and it was amazing to learn with him unlike any other teacher I've had to be honest. I didn't just learn water with him I learned the ways of water if you know what I mean. A really nice guy as long as you were on his good side. He always wanted to try this one ice cream sundae in New York haha I wonder if he got to in his absence.
The Pervy Sage said:
A mod when I joined and was until after I took my break for a year or two. He was well known for his musical arts which I never faced myself against Roku but I felt their use from Crutch and let’s just say its inspiring how he put his knowledge of music into such creative and useful customs. His own clan was unique and so widely used when I joined the RP and for years after. He was another hard working and fun guy to know as well as a sensei. I miss seeing the old fart around here.

Akiza, Sage of Sharingan
Akiza was, first and foremost, an engaged teacher and Sensei to whom many members owe their proficiency with the basic, core arsenal of the NarutoBase role-play. Akiza followed her friends and she followed the fun. She met a lot of people on the site and never said no to a talk, especially not with the many who she called her friends. To her NarutoBase was a playground and her easy-going, carefree attitude and lethal combat proficiency won her much respect with the other members. She mastered the Mangekyō Sharingan and lived up to her Sage title. She was truly one of the role-play’s more inspiring women.

Here is what some members (and herself) have said about Akiza:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
Apart from Rei, Akiza was the first really serious and memorable female role player. She was the head sensei for ages and was one of the first senseis of the base. She actively trained and was overall nice and respectful towards everyone. Like Scary Yamato, she earned the respect of other through the uncanny ability to tolerate and deal with everyone, even at personal cost and when personal insults were on the table. An excellent person, she did her best while she was active to train and keep the sensei system working. She became one of the first Official Sages, gaining the title of Sage of Sharingan, earned by being one of the oldest and more active MS users in the base. And this was her main trait: she didn't have any problem burning you to ashes with it. She mentored many people on the base and earned a spot in the memory of many.
1) Hmmm where do I start. Well you already know I was the older gen of RPers....and what motivated me to excel was well...my competition xD that and I wanted to learn from the legends that came before me like UzumakiNaruto, Shigure, CK, etc. That and my completionist nature didn't make me stop until I had mastered basic 5. It was fun then...much more simple than it is now.
2) I really can't say much on that, besides the obvious. My easygoing nature, carefree attitude, and once I started delving into being a teacher....I just helped whoever I could when I could (though B. Sama totally trounced me when I took the sensei test xD). Though you know I did eventually become a sensei, and after that, Head Sensei for a time. My teaching style was simple, yes, but I made sure that you knew what the jutsu you were learning did, and you knew how to do it right.
Being part of the older gen, I was in things like the Rain vs Anbu wars (sorta), my whole betrayal of Rain to go to Gats's Wave, then to Goro's Kusa, and then eventually following into Mist and Akatsuki/Rain once NW was formed...I basically followed wherever my friends were and where I felt I'd fit in most.
I became real life friends with a good bit of the people I met on the site and still talk to sporadically between Skype and facebook. I also sometimes surprise visit NB when I feel like it...just to see what goes on.
3) This one's gonna be the hard one. I just know it.
If you wanted a friend, a teacher, a rival (even though I rarely thought because more of my later fights ended up in arguments (which I abhor now xD)), a role model, or just someone to talk to, I was your gal; I was up for mostly anything when the time allowed it, and I still follow the same path and lifestyle I did on NB in real life. My account on NB wasn't just roleplaying to me....it was a reflection of my real self but in a Naruto setting.

Black Rose yadayadayada, no doubt #2 in most powerful female rpers on the base and for some reason they are always Uchihas >_>. Another person I never fought however her style was nothing more than an older version of Lili's with the Sharingan, Rose Techniques. Her ability to stay in character, and sadistic mindset.
The Pervy Sage said:
I miss her :(. My first sensei and one of the best. Akiza of the Sharingan. When I was a little noob back then I'd just made my Jiraiya bio in 2009 and I asked every sensei to train me so I could get started and Akiza took me on. Teaching me fire then earth as I wanted to train just like Jiraiya. Later she even did my wind training. She had like 30 students at the time but she was always friendly to them, I'm surprised she kept up with half of the training, but daily she managed to. She was so skilled with her Sharingan, creative with her custom weapon and her cloud style was so unique. She also was well known for rain jutsu. I think she was one of the best of her time and I'm sad she's not still active.
Jokey said:
One of my first Sensei's, in both Fire and Sharingan. She was known as the best female RP'er along with Rei. Her Sharingan was something you should fear for. Akiza was also one of the few people that loved to RP, or throw actual RP stuff before clashing fists. She was savage but yet very kind, to almost everyone. ALMOST. Don't get on her bad side. xD

Caliburn, the Sage of the Abyssal Sword
From Moderator to Global Moderator to Administrator Caliburn has been a part of the NarutoBase staff for as long as anyone can remember. Being part of the staff means that NarutoBase is more than a retreat or a refuge as it is for many; it is a job, and it takes guts to take it in stride as Caliburn has. We remember Caliburn for his frankness, for his straightforward way of dealing with everything NarutoBase and its members threw at him. On top of being a no-nonsense staff-member Caliburn is also quite the creative tinker; he has created several Custom Elements and techniques over the years that are the envy of many role-players.

Here is what some members have said about Caliburn:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
If there is someone who has done a lot for the RP and the Forum, its Caliburn. Originally a general mod, he eventually transitioned to the RP and became a Global Mod to recently become an Admin and the Head of the RP. The unrivaled bio checker of the base, Caliburn is one of the most hard working and uncompromising members of the base. In the RP he is known for rarely having fought against another member but he is also known for being frightening even without having to fight. The Sage of the Abyssal Sword, cali is a Kiyoshi Sage, the patriarch of all Swordsmanship and Kenjutsu in our RP and (little people know this) one of the highest grade Fire masters in the base. The one and only NB sword bitter is also well versed in any tactic or close combat scenario possible. His bio is also a deterrent for those who might want to face him...just reading it is a mind bending experience that leaves everyone ready to run away. He also created 2 of the most amazing CE's and the 7 SM NB Swords.

Kaito-Sama, the Sage of the Mind, Body and Soul
Kaito-Sama, Zenryoku, Nirvāṇa. Kaito has had many names, but to the role-players on NarutoBase he will always be known as the man who created the intricate set of techniques known collectively as Narutobase Taijutsu. Kaito was a man who took Taijutsu extremely seriously. He studied the philosophies of different Martial Arts and always strove for absolute mastery, but even with all the time he invested in close combat Kaito still found time to be both a Sensei and a Moderator. Indeed, Kaito played an essential role in creating the Jutsu List as we know it among many other things.

Here is what some members have said about Kaito-Sama:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
Old rpear, old sensei, one of the longest lasting RP Mods and Official Sage of Body, Mind and Soul. He embraced the taijutsu arts like few have one the base. Tremendous power but also high levels of skill. EIG master, Sound Master, MS user and much more. Dispite his power as an rpear and his overall profeciency with Taijutsu/Kenjutsu and his overall high knowledge of all skills and techniques on the base, the main thing that he left us was the thousnands of cannon techniques he created for the RP. Its to him that we need to thank the current Jutsu list and most of the organization of the cannon jutsus. His dedication as a mod set a high bar for all those who since have been on the staff. Overall nice guy, Zen as most people know him, is a special part of what NB's RP is today. Without him, I doubt it would have been what it is today.
The Pervy Sage said:
If you don't know this guy, GTFO. Kaito/Nirvana/Zenryoku is one of my best friends from this site and wish he'd get off his now lazy ass and be active again. He remade the entire jutsu list going out of his way to find every single jutsu so it could be put in the RP, dedication or what? Not only that but you will notice the Narutobase Taijutsu, that was originally called Kaito's tai as he made all of that up to expand the RP and give more use to taijutsu users. He was constantly checking customs none stop, taking in new ideas, abilities and setting up rules for Nexus to check so the RP could be expanded to the extent that you all see today. It used to be on different site. He was one of if not the best tai/close combat fighters. His monk type bio was awesome, he studied many different arts which I couldn't even begin to describe to you but if you read his bios and customs you will see. He was always, cool, creative and hard working. He was the Daiymo of Konoha when I was the Hokage too. He's done so much stuff I forget half of it, but as a friend I'll always remember him.
Jokey said:
Kaito/Zen aka Casey. Kind, patient and a great teacher. He was good with basically everything, he basically DID everything. That Jutsu list y'all use? I think that pretty much 60% is his work. He was quite the creative being and loved to write stories and share his knowledge to others.

Toku
Throughout his many years of active membership Toku changed in a lot of ways, but there was one thing that never changed; he was Iwarian to the core. Most members will move to a new village, if not often, then at least a few times within their career, but Toku remained in Iwagakure and became something of a symbol to the villagers. Toku was competent, approachable and very laid-back, traits that allowed him to nip potential arguments and drama in the bud and serve as the Sandaime Tsuchikage of Iwagakure for a long time.

Here is what some members have said about Toku:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
Old generation sensei, one of the most dedicated ones to have been part of our RP. Although mostly underated and somewhat forgotten, Toku was an incredible Earth User and used a very unique SNK bio with great skill. He was Tsuchikage for a long time and it was he who shapped Iwa into what it is. OVerall nice guy, he was always friendly and accessible and rarely said no to a trainng request, traning countless people throughout the years. One of the first Grims, he was also known to mingled with the "noobs" in konoha Town, chatting and talking with everyone, making him a very nice and accesible individual.
Howard said:
Toku was one of the most down to earth RP'ers. Didn't have much of an ego, and when he was the Tsuchikage he showed a genuine interest in the people who made up his village. He was extremely approachable, and laid back. Never really seemed hung up on a building a reputation for himself.
1) What seemed to motivate him was the fun aspect of the RP. He would fight regularly inside Iwagakure and pretty much just take on all comers allowing them to edit their moves as long as they wanted to, in essence allowing the fights to go on until the person legitimately couldn't think of a move. You never really saw Toku get into an argument over RP.
2) His personality was what made him great. He was the kind of sensei you could talk to without thinking about it, and a part of what allowed him to grow in the RP was that laidback nature. Most of the time, the rp becomes tense, and always leads to an argument Toku had the kind of personality that sort of squashed that before it happened.
3) The original RocknRolla.

Typhon
Typhon was never interested in building a reputation. In fact, until he was hired to be a part of the role-play Moderator team Typhon seemed contend to train the next generation of role-players and be one of the longest-serving Hokages in the history of the site. Typhon never had the huge arsenal like others of his generation, but he compensated well with a mixture of skill, craftiness and patience. Still, Typhon was not without his tricks and the Kenjutsu techniques he created were considered an honor to learn, especially among Samurais.

Here is what some members have said about Typhon:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
Long term member known for many names, like Bahamut, this was the clear example of a member who was nice, polite, correct and was overall liked by everyone. His RP style was clean, fun but skilled. Although he might lack what one would perceive as raw power and people underestimated him, he was very skilled and powerful on his own. Eventually turned sensei, he was one of the longest lasting Hokages of NW. With a knack for Jinchurikiis and Taijutsu/Kenjutsu, he is regarded as a role model for fair play.
Jokey said:
Bahamut-sama-san-kun. Hyuuga, Taijutsu, Alcohol (Fairy tail fanboy). Man oh man. Typhon got lowkey underestimated. He wasn't strong, oh you can easily beat him. But try and have a fight with him, it's pretty hard to win against him. Like Pervy said about Izuna, Typhon also was a few turns ahead. The way he used taijutsu and Hyuuga, not to mention sand with his previous Gaara biography. Typhon was definitely one of the nicest people around the base. Never caused a ruckus, or flamed/bullied anyone. Probably in the top three best Hokage of Konoha.

Rei
Though she did many great things as an Administrator, Rei is most vividly remembered in the role-play by the set of rules and restrictions (Rei’s R&R) that she created when the system was undergoing a rapid evolution. Rei was a dangerous opponent when she participated actively in the role-play, commanding a butterfly summoning and a chocolate element, but it is for her work as an Administrator and her iconic relationship with fellow Administrator Zise that she is remembered on the site at large.

Here is what some members have said about Rei:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
Rei is one of the oldest members of the base. She was there when the base first bloomed into what it is today and she is one of the main agents into that growth. She took what was at the time a rough idea and transformed it into what it is today: the RPG. The basic way of how we fight and how the RPG exists was created and developed by her. Thats why we use Rei's Rules and Regulations to fight. For a long time she was the RP administrator, during which she left her mark on it like few before and since. We can call her, to some extent, the Mother of the RP. In the early days she was also one of the first senseis. Known for liking the Uchiha clan but disliking Sasuke (LOL), she was also a powerful rpear in her day. MS user, Poison user, Medical Ninja and she gave birth to the weirdest expression an rpear could say: "those are some oped butterflies!".
The Pervy Sage said:
Former Queen of the RP is the only way I can describe her. She constantly did so much for the RP. You can see from the basic rules it's Rei's R and R, she is another like Zenryoku who put so much effort into the RP and maintain it, as well as being patient and trying to keep the RP fair. But we must not forget how deadly she was with her chocolate butterflies in the RP. I actually got the idea for my caramel release from Rei's bubblegum and Chocolate release. And I thank her for that. She made the RP what it is today.
Jokey said:
This woman, you can basically write a book about her. She has done so much for the base and had like the craziest but yet amazing ideas. Chocolate and Bubblegum CE's? Yes, she can make your life a living hell with just Candy. You could see that Rei was a kind woman. She came up for those that get either flamed or disrespected; Rei was all about love and peace. Back in the days when she was responsible for the Sage missions she gave us an assignment for our last Sage mission before getting the title, and that was to kill an Akatsuki member. Two of us in that batch failed to do so, but gave us the title however because we scored 99% for the written stuff. So someone came hopping onto my profile telling me I did not deserve it. Not a moment later she popped in the guy’s profile and told him to calm down and not judge while not knowing the whole situation at hand. Rei, the cherry top to our base.

Nexus
Nexus ruled the role-play with an iron fist, steering it through hard times from 2009 to 2014. He never sugarcoated anything, never hid his dislike of something or someone. Nexus was straightforward, and he possessed the single most destructive custom element ever created on NarutoBase, an element so powerful that users were required to be Administrators.

Here is what some members have said about Nexus:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
One of the oldest staff members and Admin, Nexus was the other pillar stone for the RP. While Rei managed Customs techniques and bio rules, Nexus managed Senseis, the training system, Ninja World and bios. He created some projects that helped create the RP we have today, like the Ninja World and worked closely with all staff mmebrs into turning the RPG into what it is today. If Rei is the RPG's Mother, Nexus is the Father. Known for liking the "dark arts", he was a powerful rpear, wielder of medical arts but also MS and his own custom Doujutsu. He was the mind behind the creation of NB's medical school.
Jokey said:
Nexus, hands down the best RP Admin thus far. He made the RP fun and did not act as if he would die if he made a mistake or something was wrong with the RP. He was laid back but damn his CE's, Doujutsu and CJ's, don't bother asking him for a spar because you would die before entering the battlefield or pronounce the word ''spar'' or ''battle''. Nexus was definitely a nice guy, especially when drunk lmao. He once gave me permission to give out CM's for maybe less than 24 hours, the next day he woke up and realized ''hell no''. You could either laugh with him, get ignored by him or get an emotionless respond by him.

Lili-Chwan, the Sage of Deceit
To some a terror, to others an inspiration. Liliana was many things; a brilliant role-player, Genjutsu mistress and technique creator among them, but first and foremost Liliana was a schemer. To her the ninja world was a playground with unlimited opportunities to plan and execute complex plots with vague success criteria and long-term rewards. Whether you participated or spectated, Liliana’s campaigns always left everyone wanting more. She was truly a one-of-a-kind, a role-player that attracted equal parts controversy, dislike and respect, and to those she called friends she was a conversationalist with a lot of heart and an open mind.

Here is what some members have said about Lili-Chwan:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
We all know that her somewhat abrasive nature is hard to comprehend at times but she has risen from the bottom of the RP career to the top (official Sage, Leader of Akatsuki, Sensei, etc) with only skill, devilish ambition and uncompromising attitude. If she wants it, she'll try everything to get it. Smart and powerful, she is one of the best CJ makers in the base so far. She has an RP persona which is very different from most and is always on...ALWAYS! She was one of the longest holders of a 7SM Sword, the Sanada Yukimura, the twin set of chakra sensing swords and one of the most talented wielders of MS/Sharingan so far. Noteworthy EIG Master and Old Sensei, she has done her best to always best her enemy and to make dramtic theatrical fights which are both filled with a somewhat weird and dark arrogant humor but also enjoyable to read. Everyone she has mentored has turned into a powerful and noteworthy roleplayer and her mastery and uncanny talent with Genjutsu makes her the best Genjutsu Master of the base which together with her close quarter fighting skills, makes her a deadly opponent.
Lord of Kaos said:
Oh where to begin? Sneaky, deceitful, nice, great RPer, Premier Genjutsu user, one of the oldest Sharingan users, EIG master, etc. Possibly the best female RP’er we've ever had, as well as one of the more progressive minds of the RP. Lili’s a great person and a big friend of mine; She originally started as a Taijutsu user and an Inuzuka. Foxyhuntress was her old name when Goro took her as a student, and taught her Taijutsu. She was pretty good at it; beat a Quincy Leader while being a Numeros Hollow in the Bleach RP, all without any attacks to use and just freeform lol. She later began to learn under Emp and fell in love with Genjutsu, employing it better than any others I've seen to be honest. She became one of the leading if not the leading user of the Sharingan and MS and rose to lead the Akatsuki in one of its most powerful incarnation. All who know her can attest to the idea of never trusting her, but I can say She is a great friend and cares about those She calls friends, even if they don't speak much more.
1) Her rise was truly phenomenal. She went from virtually unknown to leading the Mist in the first NW war, successfully defeating Iwa and beating BishamonSama, leading him to rage about losing to a Jounin. Always outspoken, She pushed for many things and some came through. She always was one of the leading RP’ers in the NW, always pushing the boundaries and even recently, challenging me in ways I didn't think of, the cause of many rules, both good and bad. What motivated her the most I would say is the custom system and her great mind for creation, seeing what new ways She can test the checkers and what ways Zhengzhou could get things approved. She can take anything and make it a truly scary field, something not even I and other good CJ creators can do. Just looking at her thread can show this and She's inspired more than many on making better Gen customs
2) In the days when She wasn't Oped, She was so sneaky and thoughtful. She was one of the biggest users of freeform taijutsu and used to beat so many with it. We were Goro's Fraccion in the Bleach RP and She used to really rake up kills with just hand to hand combat. As She got more fields learned and went into Genjutsu more, She traded her Inuzuka for a Uchiha and the rest is history; no one besides MAYBE Emperor has a collection of Genjutsu better than She does and none have executed them better than She. Scary to fight and even more scary to debate against, it's her mind that makes you either love or hate her. She'll push you to the point you want to scream, but at the same time, you can't help but acknowledge it. One of the more thoughtful members when it comes to strategy, and RP’ing as well as battling.
3) A great person. I can't recall how many times I've said this but She's really great. She understands the NW Almost as much as I do and it really shows how She interacts with it. If I every stepped down, I'd honestly recommend She took over. She's the perfect embodiment of Brains > Brawn, something She expressed during our fight for Akatsuki. While I relied on power and force, She played so many genjutsu against me I was forced to use EMS quickly to even the field.
Jokey said:
Even when inactive and chilling with her alt, this woman basically still remains the most evil, horrific and sadistic being on the base. Our current Queen of the RP, even when she's a little off/on. Lili has inspired many people with her Genjutsu and mind-blowing tactics. How she does it? We'll never know. She might be an assassin in real life, who knows? She's funny, outgoing and very kind if you know her personally, but once you RP with her, it's like fighting against a book filled with sentences that you would never think of and re-read to actually understand or be like ''What the...''. Besides her intelligence, Lili also is this savage in Taijutsu. She can basically find a way to kill you with a kunai and you wouldn't even see it coming. Most people have a liking to either Taijutsu or Genjutsu but FoxHuntress? She'll scare your life with both.

Kagutsuchi, the Sage of Fire
Kagutsuchi loved fire more than anything else on NarutoBase and his fighting style reflected it. Like many of his peers Kagutsuchi had picked up an impressive array of techniques over the course of his time on the site, but unlike some Kagutsuchi was never hesitant to make use of these techniques. He overwhelmed his opponents with power the likes of which few of them had ever witnessed. Besides being an impressive fighter Kagutsuchi was a Sensei and a sporadic, but inspiring presence to NarutoBase’s newer generations of role-players.

Here is what some members have said about Kagutsuchi:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
The fire lord! Old old roleplayer, fossil even, that was a sensei for quite some time and who was known for his mastery and usage of Fire and fire based elements. Holder for quite some time of the Fire Goddess sword, he was also a known and skilled MS user and is an official Sage. His trademark fighting style is to simply overwhelm his enemies with pure power and offensive moves. Scary!
Axle said:
One of the few people on this list that I could beat, we've fought previously and traded even more. Genuinely nice guy who loved fire back before sages were official. Nobody was more driven to be the sage of fire than this man. His EIG and fire were a force to be reckoned with, you had to stay on your toes and defeat him early if you wanted to stand a chance (hence water molecules).
The Pervy Sage said:
King of fire and my RP brother. Ali will always be in my eyes, the number one fire user and be rivalled by no other. He was and still is a cool guy, super smart, was a great sensei, and has helped a lot in the RP over the years. Shame he's not active in the RP.

Mugiwara, the Sage of Diamond Bones
Mugiwara ruled Kumogakure for years while serving as a Moderator on the site. Like many of his generation he became extremely powerful, having unlocked the Eight Gates, the Sound element and a horde of versatile techniques for the Shikotsumyaku, the Kekkei Genkai that inspired his Sage title. Where Mugiwara went, destruction usually followed and Kumogakure was rarely bested on his watch. With his arsenal of abilities, powerful custom elements and long-standing possession of the Lightning Spear Mugiwara was a very effective deterrent against invasions by foreign villages.

Here is what some members have said about Mugiwara:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
Old roleplayer, Mugi as most people know him, was one of the most powerful roleplayers seen. Skilled overall, he mastered the usage of the Kaguya KG and specialized in Sound based techniques. EIG Master, he was also the user of powerful CEs. Longest ruling Raikage and Old RP Moderator, Mugi was a staff member for a long time.
~xtsukune~ said:
A critical sarcastic guy, he was funny down to his diamond bones. Incredibly creative with his customs and his battles always went for the throat. He didn't best around the bush always seemed to treat each opponent as if they were equals. My first Kage when I joined the base I actually learned a lot from him. Talked to him as much as I could he's a really good guy and it's unfortunate that he's not around anymore. In some ways he livened up the site.
Jokey said:
This guy can destroy everyone's dream of getting a Kaguya biography or sound in less than a minute. Can you imagine someone with a Sharingan biography that can use Shikotsumyaku, EIG, Sound and CE's that you could dream of? No one could even come up with the idea of this combination let alone imagining it. Mugiwara aka Adam was pretty full of himself, he knew what he was capable of and what he could do. Don't bother talking to him if you're below his level.

Gobi Gobletsson, the Sage of Strength and Endurance
From his humble beginning in 2010 Gobi rose to become one of the most powerful and technical fighters of his generation. If a skill was obtainable; Gobi had it, and he possessed a plethora of custom techniques and elements to boot. Gobi was good at many things, including making friends. As Amekage and Leader of Akatsuki he never had to command, but simply led by example and by the strength of his personality. As a Sensei Gobi trained many members and even took a few personal students, and as a fighter he dominated the battlefield, but it is as a friend that Gobi really shone.

Here is what some members have said about Gobi Gobletsson:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
For current standards, old generation but compared to most people in this list, still new generation. Old Sensei, Gobi was known for his mastery of Earth Release, trying to fill in the shoes of other earth masters before him, but also a skilled EIG and Sound master. At some point he was the wielder of the Gobi Jinchuriki bio, Han, which he used with great skill. Skilled and smart, he is known for getting in quiet and seemingly underrated but leaving with the head of his enemy in hand. Was the Amekage for some time and has been respected as a skilled roleplayer since the begining. He was also a student of many noteworthy members of this list. Currently Active.

This kid right here is the truth. The fight I had with him was one of my favorites on the base even though he toyed with me with his gates at the time. I have mad respect for the kid, his RP can really bring out the best in people and he knows how to have a good time.
Jokey said:
Goblet, viking, the-guy-that-called-himself-a-beard-sage-after-finally-getting-facial-hair. Gobi probably is the third generation's best Earth user. Gobi succeeded in achieving amazing CJ's, a Four tailed Jinchuuriki, a Sensei status and a spot in the Akatsuki in less than year. He probably also is the person that lasted the longest in the Akatsuki. Official Sage, Senior Sensei, Abyss, EIG, Jinchuuriki, Akatsuki Leader, a custom clan... Did I miss anything? Besides Gobi's known RP skills, Gobi also is a pretty nice guy once you know him. He sometimes is hard to understand, and if you do, then you should befriend him. He joined the base a year or two after me but he turned out to be my mentor in maybe less than a year. I will always remain Gobi's number one Senpai and student. He just doesn't admit it pretty quick. ;)

Alucard
When Alucard ruled Kirigakure the village was considered the strongest in the ninja world and with good reason. Not only was the village home to many strong members, but Alucard himself was a force to be reckoned with. Through a combination of Fūinjutsu, Kinjutsu and miscellaneous fields Alucard won many battles. He was truly a jack-of-all-trades, assuming the role of Samurai, Kaguya, Dark Release user and others with gusto, and was made a Moderator in recognition of that fact.

Here is what some members have said about Alucard:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
Known better as the Mizukage and the longest ruling Kage of the NW RP, Alucard was scary. He used many techniques, most of which of advanced fields like Kinjutsu and Fuuinjutsu, to overpower his enemy no matter the cost. Kenjutsu expert he is also a master of virtually all fields of the RP, something he used to his advantage, adapting to his opponents. During his reign, Kirigakure was the supreme village of the RP and considered the strongest group of roleplayers in the system. Old RP Moderator, Old Sensei and Official Sage (despite never have chosen a title).
Jokey said:
Second generation's best Earth user. Alucard was a nice guy. Alucard cherished his Village back in the days and succeeded in making it the most fearsome village in the base, it's incomparable to the current Kirigakure and those that joined back in the days know that.

Xylon, the Sage of Tactics
Xylon was the original Minato Namikaze and stayed with the biography for the duration of his time on NB. That is not to say that Xylon stuck to Minato’s skillset, for like most the members from his generation Xylon amassed a rich variety of custom techniques and elements that saw him rise to near legendary status, and that was before he was made a Moderator. As a role-player Xylon was a well-rounded individual who seemed at peace with his lot, though he remained somewhat unapproachable due to his status.

Here is what some members have said about Xylon:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
Old Roleplayer, having been from the same "harvest" as Rei, Scary and others, Xylon was soon regarded as a powerful roleplayer. Master of most fields of the RP, Xylon specialized in the usage of his Minato bio and speed to take down his enemies in precise ways. EIG Master, Sound Master, Yin and Yang Master and Sensei, Xylon is a powerhouse, even if he didn't fight often. Old Sensei and RP Moderator, Xylon is also one of the oldest Official Sages of the base.
Korra. said:
Xylon was a kind and caring person and tried to help out the newer generation in Amegakure when we started. He would give tips on fighting and advice when making CJs and would tell you what ability you should go for and excel in. He also wanted to get Amegakure on its own feet so that way we would be independent from Akatsuki. Really understanding person when it came to anything you talked to him about and didn't mind having conversion with people on Skype at any time.
The Pervy Sage said:
Ibby xd The number one Minato user and always will be in my eyes. Minato and Final fantasy always remind me of this guy. He's had Minato since I can remember; he was the First Hokage in the ninja system and helped set it all up. He's easy going and easy to get on well with.

Crutch Kaguya
More than anyone else on the list Crutch was defined by his unshakable confidence and his straightforward nature. Throughout his stay on NarutoBase Crutch meticulously unlocked and created techniques, abilities and elements, a practice that saw him become one of the most technically adept fighters on the site. As a fighter Crutch was meticulous and deadly, but it was in his work as a Sensei that his capacity for helping others and passing knowledge on truly came to light. Crutch’s approach to training was reminiscent of his approach to battle; meticulous, and it was this quality more than anything else that allowed him to rise to the rank of Head Sensei.

Here is what some members have said about Crutch Kaguya:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
Regardless if you love him or hate him, Crutch is one of the best roleplayers the RP saw. Powerful but skilled, he was known for a pletora of different skills which he could easily use to take control of the flow of battle. Top Taijutsu Master, he is an EIG Master and one of the oldest senseis, possessing knowledge in most if not all fields of the RP. Kiyoshi clan member and feared CE user.
The Pervy Sage said:
A very cool guy indeed, and a great Sensei. He trained the next generation of great RP’ers I believe such as Gobi, Zero Kelvin and Akisha. He’s been a sensei for so many years and he is a strong RP’er. I had a fight with him recently and I've seen a lot on base, but from our tai fight alone he opened my eyes to so many different things and I thank him for that.
Jokey said:
A honest guy. Crutch is pretty much an open book, he says what he thinks about you whether it's negative or positive, but it's with good intentions of course. And we all know about his RP skills. I remember the day that he said that he could beat Shady with one move. Everyone was like nah don't get this cocky because you have a full Madara biography, we lost respect for you, yadayada. But then, the battle came with him and Scorps. And I will say no more.

Emperor, the Sage of Plants, Penguins and other Weird Stuff
Emperor was known as the original Zetsu, a fearsome member of the Kaguya Clan and the first member to truly master Genjutsu. As both a Sensei and a Moderator he did many good things for the site, but it is for his fearsome reputation as a fighter and the fact that he mentored Lili-Chwan that he is remembered. As a fighter Emperor commanded lethal custom elements and a massive arsenal of effective custom techniques, particularly lethal illusions.

Here is what some members have said about Emperor:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
Oh the irony!!!! Ahaha! Old roleplayer, former RP moderator and probably the first real roleplayer of the base, capable of enacting the persona of his bio like none other, Emperor was also a very very strong fighter. Official Sage and the first real Genjutsu Master, Emperor became known through his usage of a Zetsu bio which granted him the nickname of "Petunia", "Cannibal Plant" and many others equally funny. His style of fighting is mayhem and he was known for designing techniques specifically to cancel other known roleplayers strongest techniques. His mad style had its epitome with his Deadpool bio and its bipolar personally, fueled by countless 4th Wall breaks. Official Sage of Penguins and other Weird Stuff, Emperor was both fun and frightening in battle.
The Pervy Sage said:
Penguins!!!! Cyber serial killer!!! Genjutsu torturist!!! He was the original Zetsu and a genius. His skill in creating jutsu was amazing and I'll just warn you all to avoid his Genjutsu at all cost. He was a great Mod along with Nero back in the day and has always helped the base along with Zen and Rei. Like Xylon is the number one Minato, Emperor is the number one Zetsu.

Jinbei
Unlike most other members Jinbei was rarely interested in custom techniques. To Jinbei the fun was in the challenge, in the fight itself, and with his considerable skill and deft usage of the wide variety of canon techniques he quickly became a respected fighter on the site. Most who knew Jinbei, however, would agree that Jinbei was known and respected more for his helpful and easygoing demeanor. Jinbei was kind and his kindness was one of the virtues that allowed him to be an extraordinary Sensei and, for a brief time, a dedicated Moderator.

Here is what some members have said about Jinbei:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
An old Generation RPer, sensei, and even a mod for a short period of time. Jinbei was one of Scary Yamato's students and a person who had a simple RP style which focused heavily on the use of the Canon jutsus available. As a member of Iwagakure, he helped shape what it became alongside Toku, even taking over as Kage after Toku's resignation. Although underrated, Jinbei is a silent beast who was friendly to all he talked to, and kept to the basics of RPing despite having several powerful CJs as well having 3 CEs under his belt.
Jokey said:
Besides Pervy, Kerrah, Kryptic, Osmon, Baldy, Vayne and Vision, Jinbei definitely is one of my greatest friends in the base. This guy was too nice for this world man. He was all about that positive energy and the kindness was too much to handle. Jinbei was called the canon-God, he could destroy your life with mere canon technique's and still remain humble. Jinbei was faaaaar from cocky, never has he tried to bring down someone, only bring 'em up. Jinbei was one of the very few people to have noticed my growth. He saw me becoming the guy to approach people with ''can u pliese train me pls pls pls'' to what I currently am. Every time we speak on Skype he keeps saying how the hell I managed to come this far. Not only was he nice to me, but to basically everyone, he was the kind of dude that everyone liked, there was pretty much no one on the base that hated him, just like SY.
Erzo said:
Jinbei - when he role-played - mainly used canon elements, despite having an assortment of customs which anyone of us would love to have. This alone made me admire him from early on. He became the reason I joined Iwagakure when joining was almost impossible for someone who was quite unknown. Upon joining I saw even more of his simplistic RP-style without the use of CJs which I thought so highly of back then, and wanted to be like him.

BishamonSama, the Sage of Earth
BishamonSama was the undisputed king of the earth element and an all-around iconic role-player. He controlled the monkey contract and, more famously, created and owned the custom element ‘lava.’ Bishamon trained many of the members who later reached the top themselves, a feat which, combined with his prowess in battle, has earned him a near legendary status on NarutoBase.

Here is what some members have said about BishamonSama:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
An old sensei known for being The official Sage of Earth and the first Tsuchikage of Iwagakure. BishamonSama was skilled in multiple areas, quickly becoming one of the strongest through his use of his Minato biography, creating combinations of customs and canon jutsus to create attacks which only a select few could successfully escape. Not only was he a great fighter, but he also helped in the making of the canon Lava jutsu list. As a sensei, Bishamon was a teacher to other great names such as Goro Kaguya, Ragnaroc and even the Kage who took over after his reign, Kaze.

My first rival on the base back before he had his legacy. That rivalry then is like comparing Gecko Moriah to Kaido with their rivalry. Bishamon was a genius and even when he was actually wrong, he could manipulate his words to seem right to the average NB user.
Jokey said:
The first generation's best Earth user. Bishamon was always in for a laugh and fun. When you would RP with him, you would have the time of your life. I remember him being bad ass with Monkey's also, monkeys and bananas all over his profile. Oh, he also handed me the monkey contract, since he was the official holder of the contract.

Mathias, the Sage of Archery
Marhias joined in the autumn of 2011 and rose through the ranks very quickly. Before most of his peers had finished their basics Mathias had become a Sensei, then a Kage and finally a Moderator, leading some to ask the question: who was he? As a fighter Mathias was deadly with bow and arrow, an art to which he dedicated a custom fighting style. As a man Mathias possessed a keen intellect and a sharp wit that made him a skilled conversationalist. Mathias seemed to genuinely enjoy both training and getting to know other members. Perhaps it was this ability to connect so easily with others that allowed him to propel through the ranks.

Here is what some members have said about Mathias:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
A past sensei and mod, Mathias was another Iwarian who climbed the ranks of NB like no other before him. Mathias became one of the first senseis of his generation, showing great skill as he passed the sensei test. Shortly after, he became a mod as well as the Kage of Iwagakure, trusted by Jinbei to be skilled enough to take over and lead the village. His skills in the use of Archery based customs later led to him becoming an official Sage of Archery. A generally all round nice person and great RPer.

A good friend of mine, sharp mind and wit. Known for his archery among most things. He was a nice guy always willing to help out when I felt as if I no longer belonged in Kumo and wanted to be a part of Iwa he vouched for me to the other members at the time and I'll be eternally grateful Iwa is great and so are the people that dwell there. Matty always made the party better so to speak. I hope he returns one day

Yooooo this guy came by like a flash. I was inactive for a couple of months and suddenly saw a new orange name popping up. Less than 6 months and this guy became a sensei. Less than a year and this guy became a mod AND official Sage. Besides his mind-blowing achievements, Mathias also is this kind guy that would decline your CEJ within' less than a day.

Lord of Kaos, the Sage of Wuji
Lord of Kaos had been an almost constant presence on NarutoBase ever since he joined the site back when it was in its infancy. The years were kind to Kaos, who enjoyed a level of raw power that very few could compare with. He was a Moderator, the Leader of Akatsuki and well respected for the changes he made to the ninja world and the role-playing culture on the site in general. Kaos had the elements, the techniques and the skill necessary to dominate, but more importantly he had a network of friends and acquaintances more than happy to discuss everything between Heaven and Earth, and suggest new features.

Here is what some members have said about Lord of Kaos:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
An old member better known as his previous name of Lord of Kaos, he became a sensei last year, quickly climbing to the rank of Moderator of the Ninja world. As an Eight Gates master, his taijutsu prowess rivals that of the greats, this alongside the customs he has gained through the years makes him an extremely dangerous opponent. More recently he has changed his battle style and has focused on being Madara Uchiha, replacing taijutsu with genjutsu and even passing one of the most difficult test on NB, gaining the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan as he did so.

*daps him up as I type this* he iight you know, I've seen better....lol jk. Dude is straight fire, back in the day he used to ride with Bisha and the rest of the high rollers but it wasn't his time to shine yet. He slowly rose with time and effort to become the monster you people see today.
The Pervy Sage said:
My fellow troublemaker back in the day. Always getting banned by Nexus, him and his green jumpsuit. Oh how I wish he wasn't a mod. Though he is doing a great job holding the ninja world together and that’s a hard one. But he always reminds me of Percy Jackson in a Lee costume. He knows what I mean. He's a great friend, great RP’er and really good tai user. I don't think Madara suits him, I think he should go back to a Lee bio and Percy Jackson

Adachi
Very few Senseis of NarutoBase could honestly claim to have trained as many members as they could. Adachi, however, was an exception. Hundreds of members were put through his detailed training sessions that helped facilitate their growth as role-players. The sheer effort Adachi invested in training others and the speed with which he finished session after session was almost inhuman. Adachi himself was approachable, though very thoughtful, and his promotion to Moderator was well deserved. As a fighter he focused on mastering canon techniques and the Wood Element.

Here is what some members have said about Adachi:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
An oldie sensei and more recently mod, Adachi is known for being one of the nicest mods who is extremely dedicated to doing the tasks given to him, dealing with his mod tasks all whilst taking on an extremely large number of students. In addition, he is known to be able to easily tell a story with each RP move he makes, focusing on remaining in character and purely using canon jutsus as he does so. He uses his creative writing talents to help others, creating threads in which he actively helps others to learn how to RP correctly. To this date, no one has ever surpassed his Role Playing abilities.
Jokey said:
Tenzo-sama-san-kun. This guy and his Wood and Nara... the original Canon-God. Let's be honest, not all of us love reading, but this guy makes you love it to a level that you can't stop. The way he RP's and writes stuff. Damn man, y u do dis? You can laugh with this guy, talk with this guy for days about games, anime or random stuff that you will eventually try to wonder how you got so deep into the convo and later on realize ''Oh, yeah, because it's Adachi'. And even when you're a noob, he'll notice you.

Kirabi
Kirabi was the jinchūriki of the Eight-Tailed Giant Ox and, by extension, the holder of the unique Killer B biography. A master of the lightning element Kirabi was an active and dedicated member of Kumogakure for years. Kirabi’s path was full of twists and turns, but it always revolved around obtaining and keeping the Killer Bee biography. He displayed great willpower and patience when he took the biography test multiple times in a row, failing several times before he finally passed. Unlike many of his peers Kirabi never deviated from his path, and that level of dedication can only be described as extremely impressive.

Here is what some members have said about Kirabi:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
An old sensei and long time holder of the Eight Tailed beast biography, Kirabi is currently one of the oldest members of Kumogakure, alongside one or two others. His abilities to RP in character are above most, always keeping in character, rapping as Kirabi would, regardless of the situation. He shows great dedication to the Bijuu, creating a custom group and submitting jutsus for the group specifically, truly living up to his username of Kirabi. After Mugiwara, he became the Raikage of Kumogakure, showing enough strength and dedication to be trusted by the village, leading it until passing on the torch to a newer generation.
Axle said:
One of my bestfriends and longest friends on the base. Our fights never last long as we both go inactive by the end of them xD, but he has some of the best customs around and I don’t care what his actual name is, he is forever Kirabi with the 8-tails in my heart.
The Pervy Sage said:
Determined. Back when I joined the RP he was constantly testing to get the Kirabi bio as you can see and on top of that he used to have the A bio, so bio brothers. Great lightning and bijuu user. I think Emperor and Nero used to bully him to stop him getting the bio but no one deserves it more. He's been a long time sensei and cool guy.

-Naruto Uzumaki
-Naruto Uzumaki- picked a username that fit perfectly. As the first and only holder of the unique Naruto Uzumaki biography he was an extremely talented fighter with a particular flair for the wind element and Senjutsu techniques.

Here is what some members have said about -Naruto Uzumaki-:
Grand RP Hall of Fame said:
An old gen member whose name is known by most for being the first person to pass the Naruto Uzumaki Jinchūriki test as well as being the first person to pass a Jinchūriki based test in general. Truly keeping to his character, he was well versed in the use of Wind style ninjutsu as well as the the Bijuu related jutsus and Sage Mode which come with the Naruto biography. Up until now, he remains the only person to have passed the Naruto test biography.

Author's Note: A thousand times thank you goes out to all the contributors, particularly Axle, Jokey, Lord of Kaos and The Pervy Sage. You made this possible.
