The role of Black Ops

Considering this definition, we can say that Black Ops are true Shinubbi and I don't see any need to state the obvious why this is so. However, I think their fighting styles, plans, strategies and as a whole their world has been overhidden from us. I wish they had a highlighted role in the Naruto especially during the current war. The only thing we have seen from them is during Pain's attack to Konoha in which they couldn't manage to stop his summoning. Please pay attention that I'm talking about their minor role in general and the Pain invasion is just an example

Most of the anbu werent deployed during the pain invasion because danzo restrained them in order to attempt a coup d'etat on Konoha once it was destroyed
