the revived seven ninja swordsman of the mist question

so for those who watch naruto, the so called "Strongest" Generation of the seven ninja swordsman were revived, they are all very powerful and had unique swords and abilities but i want to know how did they all die? most of them seemed very young like early 20's-mid 30's, so i don't think they died of old aging, i know ameyuri died of an incurable disease and the one that can control his hair was killed by kisame, but what about the others like jinpachi and kushimaru? were they like all killed in battle or something?

Edo Tensei brings them back in their prime. Except for Nagato... for some reason.

They probably died in battle. But remember that being revived and young-looking does not neccesarily mean they died young, since Kabuto returned Madara in a young age, to his prime one.
That means maybe Kabuto returned them into a younger form.

Most likely in some form of combat from what we know.

I liked how they made Ringo in the anime.
Was entirely pissed at what they did to Kushimaru....made him a cocky douchebag
