History:
Zero Karoshi born Charles Karoshi lived a pretty normal life with his mother father and older sister in The Land Of Water, His Father was a pretty skilled weapon’s Smith and his Mother was a Medical Shinobi. When a war broke out everywhere, His mother was on the field and his father was busy forging weapons day in and day out. Their Mother ended up losing her life during conflicts. The Trauma of this event caused his sister to awaken a kekkai Genkai that laid dormant within the family’s genes from centuries past. One of the clans captured her and attempted to turn her into a soldier to turn the tides in combat. When Charles found out about both event from his father he fell into a deep depression. He left his home which only held lost hope and a hopeless father. He wandered across the lands seeing nothing but a world ravaged by war and devoid of hope. In his travels, he met a man named Edward. Like Charles, he was a man who had lost everything due to war, but unlike him, this man was not devoid of soul. He had a spirit of fire and kindness. He sympathized with the young boy and agreed to teach him how to fight. Edward knew a fair deal about chakra and fighting. Over a period of 9 months, Charles gained usage of chakra as well as the elements of fire and lightning which came near natural to him and the element of water release Edwards speciality.
The two continued to wonder together as good friends and as master and student. During this time Charles faced many hardships as his friends past came to haunt him as bounty hunters went after them. A Notable fight the two of them had was against a person who held the Dead Bone Pulse ability. The bone User managed to work down their stamina until they were near exhausted. They were cornered and exhausted, Edward was forced to use his kekkei Genkai ability which managed to deal a blow to the enemy at the cost of his remaining stamina. Edward collapsed on the spot, and while the enemy injured was not out. Charles tried to keep his cool and strategize. He Lured the enemy into a false sense of security and struck a lightning enforced blow to the man’s wound. Edward who had actually been faking it because plot :/ blocked the blow and revealed that the bone user was a friend of his who he had asked to fight them to test zero, The bone user who was actually fine because genjutsu I guess :/. Zero had passed Edwards test and thus deemed him ready to go into real combat. The bone user travelled with them for awhile before departing onto his own adventures. Meanwhile, Charles and Edward walked into risky waters. The place they entered was the territory of the clan who took his sister.
It was bleak forest littered in weeds and rotten logs, bugs were everywhere and the moonlight reflected off the water of the various ponds. The atmosphere made the hairs on their back stand up straight and they were constantly on guard. The dank swamps eventually opened into a large field where the clan had taken up base. They were immediately surrounded by 5 dark figures in hoods from all directions. Two seemed female the other 3 seemed male from body shape. The largest one approached them further and took off his hood. He revealed himself as the second son of the clan's leader, he was given charge of the clans elite squad of warriors. The other 4 figures took off their hoods. The two figures behind them were both male and the other two on their sides were two females… one was familiar one was Charles Sister her eyes were lifeless and cold, she seemed like she was under some kind of genjutsu.
Edward did not hesitate to begin combat he used his storm kekkei Genkai to send out a large blast of storm energy towards the one in charge, take out the brain and the bodies useless. His blast was immediately cockblocked by Charles sister who absorbed the blast with her dark release kekkei Genkai and reflected the blast stronger out her other hand, with his guard open Edward took the blast directly and received mortal wounds. He played unconscious on the floor bleeding out. The leader of this little group spoke once more offering Charles a place in his clan's group along with his sister. Charles spits in his face and refused. The man snapped his fingers and the two men behind him used their scorch release kekkei Genkai to launch a massive combined stream of intense flames towards him. The immense trauma of his friend's death unlike before empowered him and awakened his kekkei Genkai, he absorbed the massive scorch attack and reflected it back apon its users in an instant leaving then but ash on the ground. The leader was scared shitless by the event and tried to order a retreat, he managed to get away but Charles managed to use some of the energy he had absorbed to hit the mysterious women's leg. She fell to the ground in agony and before she could scramble away Charles stomped his boot firmly on her hit leg crushing the bone and breaking it. He tried to extract information from her but she killed herself by using some sort of weird jutsu, her body slowly disintegrated into ash and disappeared into the wind. The women seemed to be the one using genjtsu on his sister. And thus his sister was freed. She was unconscious on the ground. Edward who was somehow still alive managed to speak some final words and give Charles his final lesson and final goodbye. Charles took his sister and flee’d the strange land before reinforcements came, it left a bitter taste in his mouth leaving his friends corpse behind but there was nothing he could do.
Several hours later Charles stopped in an Inn and rented a room. He laid his sister on the bed and could leave his old life behind having no regrets. With his old life gone he needed a new name one that represented his new state of heart. Zero.

Description:
The Elucidator is a night-black sword which can be wielded using one or two hands. It is double-edged, is a standard 67 centimetres in length, and weighs 4.5 pounds. The handle and hilt of the sword are also black, with the cross guard taking the form of a single-sided gear-like object. In theory, the blade appears to be a somewhat odd looking, but relatively simple, sword. The sword is actually quite the opposite. It actually has multiple unique abilities, each different from the last.

The Elucidator's metal is a powerful chakra steel. It can take up to S-Rank damage before being destroyed. Or rather, dispersed. The sword actually acts somewhat like a summon, returning to a sheath on the user after being destroyed. However, even if it is not broken, the sword cannot be drawn until the next battle if it is dispersed. The sword itself can cut through techniques of hardness equal to that of B-Rank or lower. If the material is harder than Doton, and the sword can only cut through C-Rank of it.
Flawless Cut:
The Elucidator's edges are sharp enough to cut a human being and draw blood if they so much as tap the blade. This makes the sword especially unaffected by air resistance, as it is able to flawlessly cut through the air surrounding the blade during a strike. This means its cuts are extremely quick, almost 1.5x that of a standard katana being used by a warrior of similar power to the wielder of the blade.
Moonlight Empowerment:
This is the Elucidator's most powerful ability. By surging their chakra into the blade, the user will cause the sword to brightly glow in a sky blue shade. This is a sign that the blade is charging power. When using this, the blade will gain access to its special technique (to be posted) and will have their kenjutsu with the sword empowered, dealing larger cutting and impact damage when being used, as well as gaining strike speed, becoming even faster than it usually is. This effect lasts a single turn and costs a move to activate.
