last chapter and this chapter gai was saved by minato from the black orbs so Godara would have killed him in his 7th gate and in his 8th gate but thanks to minato he didnt... Godara > gai any gate


and it is obvious Madara will still be alive so your thread is false by that since gai inst greater than madara if/when madara survives

no where did i even say gai>madara...i am well aware madara will beat gai....i only stated you can surpass anything with hard work

The question is how do you define genius. You can't just simply surpass via hard work only. You got to be talented in the thing in which you're investing your hard work. Take me for eg. I suck very bad in chemistry and maybe if I put all my focus and hardwork on it I may develop it to an average level,but in the same amount of time I can pretty much excel in english,maths,etc.

Well, Madara did get whipped by Guy this chapter; there's no denying that. But, he hasn't even cut-loose yet; he's just sizing guy up.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch...

And I believe the whole "hard work surpasses genius"-thing can go either way really.
