I dont think Naruto's seal requires you to be a jinchuuriki but instead requires Life-force and Yang chakra on the level of the sage or younger son,except naruto who needed the yang chakra of kurama.
this is assuming that naruto and the sage share the same seal (which i have no doubt)
Now let me explain why
First The sage invented the Seal for the juubi to protect the world and become it's jinchuuriki
it was said to be a ninjutsu quietley being passed down
Kurama was reminded of the Rikudo after naruto got some of kurama's yang chakra meaning that the rikudo already looked like that when he first made the seal and didn't need bijuu levels of yang chakra and there were no bijuus back then either
this is what the rikudo's "body" is
the younger son-life-force and yang chakra(physical energy it's the same thing) look at his flame-like chakra
when the rikudo would use that seal, his body would then be filled with life-force or/and yang chakra like naruto
the guy in the middle is supposed to represent the sage's "body" he has the staff,scroll,the tomoe necklace,and those swirls; i think the swirls represent life-force and yang chakra
the younger son is holding the staff most likely and hashi might have the scroll on his back
there's also some swirl looking pattern when hiruzen first used the reaper death seal(might have something to do with uzumaki's)
Naruto's bijuu chakra mode was filled with life-force
naruto's has the body and life-force because of Kushina but needed more because of the distant relation
Naruto's "body' will look a little different because he has yang chakra from kurama were as the sage had his own
Madara can do this same seal as well
He plans on being the jinchuuriki of the juubi,so he's going to have to use the same seal that the sage did
so when he does it he's going to look like the rikudo, flame-like chakra and rinnegan, but how does he have enough life-force and yang chakra? that's the reason why he chose hashi
Hashi has incredible life-force and that's probably the reason why he can heal with handseals
kabuto chose Karin,an uzumaki,because of the healing recovery and uzumaki's are from the senju lineage and distant blood relatives
we're now going to see how hashi became so powerful and how he is on the same level as the younger son without having to get yang chakra from a bijuu like naruto had to
and i think that this is why minato gave naruto that chakra so he can have the "body" of the sage and that's what "that jutsu" could be.it needed kurama's chakra and jiraiya said that minato made sure to seal and separate the dark chakra(viz translation it says yin)and each time naruto got kurama's chakra the closer to the sage he looked.
minato might have known that in order to fight a strong uchiha who has madara's will you need the sage's "body"
maybe minato knew that once naruto could control kurama's yang chakra it would change his seal and he made sure to separate the yin from the yang
