in the anime, they call it blue sweat...

and he is also called the BLUE beast in the manga...

so logically speaking that makes more sense, seeing as that was probably Kishimoto's original intention...

7th gate evaporates his sweat. Just from '8th gate = death" you could already tell that you either drain all your chakra, literally combust and burn yourself out or you vaporize your blood.

The red steam basically confirms dying by vaporizing your blood.

Green beast Title + Green aura confirmation from Gai and Kisame + *********** trans and his snazzy green jumpsuit all point towards it being green, This "Blue Aura" and "Blue beast" is the first time any colour other than green has been linked to Gai

in the anime, they call it blue sweat...

and he is also called the BLUE beast in the manga...

Anime colours are always off.

Kisame isn't the same colour in the anime as portrayed in the manga, Nor is Sasuke's susanoo and most likely alot of others
