His entire clan was wiped out by his village, why wouldn't he want to revive it? The more the blood is diluted, the lesser the chance of the Sharingan reappearing. I understand that genes never disappear but they can be so diluted that they never show again. He doesn't have to immediately revive the clan, as in having twelve children, but his children can carry the clan's legacy.
He shouldn't just cast aside his clan in the dust of history just because the village decided to wipe it out.
Isn't his own individual family enough though? Here is how I see it. Even if Sasuke sleeps with every girl in Konoha and has a baby by them all, Sasuke surely wouldn't be able to actually be there for all of those kids or be a real father to all of them (he hardly has time for Sarada as it is). If that happens, then sure there will be Uchihas, but it is not like Sasuke would ever get to feel the same sense of connection to these Uchihas as he did with his original clan (pre-massacre). Sasuke wouldn't be able to really form relationships with this "new Uchiha clan", so it would be pointless to create one in the first place. It would essentially just be creating a bunch of father-less children solely for the sake of saying that people with this blood line exist. Who knows how these father-less kids would even turn out? Some of them might be great people. Others might become criminals. Others may just be your average Joe. Basically, they'd be no different from random people you find on the street, so there's no point in really establishing a clan out of it.
Also, how exactly would they carry the Uchiha legacy? They probably wouldn't even know much about the past Uchihas seeing as how Sasuke is a busy guy who doesn't have much time to tell stories to all these kids to begin with. Even Sarada, the first of these new Uchihas and the daughter of Sasuke's actual wife, probably doesn't even know names like Itachi and Madara. These new Uchihas would be so distant from the original clan, that you might as well consider the Shin clones as the new Uchiha clan.
In my opinion, if Sasuke really wants to revive the Uchiha clan, he should focus on finding a way to do that literally by actually bringing the original clan back from the dead. Perhaps he could find a way to refine rinne tensei so that the caster doesn't have to die, or perhaps he could learn how to master life and death to the point that Hagoromo was able to do it, or maybe he could even find that genie from that OVA and bring his clan back (lol I know that was just a filler comedy OVA).
If I were the last Black person on Earth, I still couldn't see myself wanting to make a lot of babies just so that I could say that more Black people exist. I would just take my wife and be satisfied with my own individual family that I start with her.
Diluted blood is actually an important matter. Just follow the time line: Indra's raw power> Madara's raw power(before power up)> Sasuke's (before power up)
Kushina could take a Bijuu extraction and Naruto struggled a lot more than her.
But I agree, clan pride doesn't matter anymore, and btw, I think Sarada will become Uzumaki.
I suppose you do make a good point with the whole time line thing, but who is to say that the sharingan really needs to continue anyway? I mean, sure it is a powerful dojutsu, but it is going to disappear eventually whether anyone likes it or not. Shinobi can always find other jutsus to master and ways to become strong. Heck, if Kishi stops making everyone a clone of their clan or village, and actually puts some effort into giving people unique and not fodder jutsus, then shinobi can still be just as strong with or without the sharingan.
As for Sarada becoming an Uzumaki, I agree, but Uchiha is just a name. Sarada will always still have the blood of an Uchiha, and so will any children and descendants she has. A rose by any other name smells just as sweet.
