Hello everyone. How are you doing? (I don't care how you doing Lol)
The way I start my theories is pretty weird, :| .I only wanted to explain the basic reason why Naruto's and Minato's Bijuu mode was so different. And even what the true power of Ashura is.
So lets get started.We all know that there are 2 kinds of chakra the Yin chakra and Yang chakra. Necessarily meaning the "Bad" chakra and the "Good" chakra, "Dark" chakra and "Light" chakra, "Spiritual" chakra and "Physical" chakra. We all know for something to be real, for something to exist in the Naruto Universe, is to be made out of those chakra. If those chakra won't get together they will be just chakra. They are still gonna be able to make contact, but they will just stay as sorts of chakra. The Sage himself when he used Banbutsu Sōzō used both those chakra. That Jutsu can manipulate the Yin chakra and Yang one. The Ying chakra merely creates Symbols and shadows, while the Yang chakra gives them life and created beings like Obito stated.
This is the reason that Naruto's and Minatos Bijuu Mode is different. The Chakra each one has in Yin Minato, and Yang Naruto. The Chakra they have is only one of the pieces and without the other peace it will just stay chakra and not have the actual form of the Fox with the fur and everything else. This is even the reason Naruto's chakra is a good life source.The Kyuubi chakra never had a great healing ability, but since it is only Yang, and the Yang chakra is the chakra that has only the physical power, and the very strong life force. It is even the reason why The mokuton grows close to Naruto.
Now everyone is very suprissed why Ashura had the same ability. Many thought it was total Bullshit, since he never was Kyuubi jinchuriki. But that was only the power of the Yang chakra of Ashura. His Yang Chakra was at Bijuu level. And he was even able to use the Bijuu Dama. The Bijuu Dama came from a matter of fact that, the Sage gave the most Yang chakra to Asura, it was frankly the chakra that made up the 10 tails in the first place. The chakra of the being that was able to use Bijuu Dama, was inside Ashura so it was quite logical that he could use the Bijuu Dama.
The Yin chakra has the same Principal, if it is on it's own it only is chakra together with the Yang chakra it forms and actual being.
That's even the reason that the Bijuu Mode of Minato was that way, He was not the reincarnation of Ashura.
The Bijuu Mode of both Naruto and Minatos had nothing to do with Ashuras chakra.
In the upcoming chapters Naruto might be able to unlock the strong chaktra of Ashura and use the Same power just as him.
