I don't know if this is an obvious thing but I believe the reason why jinchuriki die or almost die after being extracted is because the shinju or pieces of shinju(bijuu) absorb the jinchuriki's chakra and take it with them. Remember all chakra even the one people are innately born with came from the shinju. It has been shown that the shinju's main and only goal is to get back ALL it's chakra, this includes normal chakra people have with them.

OT: I think it's because of their extraction ... they stay connected with bijuus for a time and they create a bond , and jinchuuriki cannot survive if that bonds get cut of .

Ya like I'm not sure of it but it's sounds pretty logical to me, this can explain why shinobi that have a lot of stamina but also chakra survive longer after extraction. Hagoromo is probably gonna have naruto some sort of chakra to survive the extraction.

I kinda agree with this as well. The bijuu and vessel become one body and mind, that being the case it'd make sense that if a large part of u were ripped away u would die from shock. The bijuu survive because they are immortal.

I believe they die because the beast and them are directly linked they use the same character network. When they are extracted the network is damaged so the host chakra can no longer build or move through the body leading to death. As for the sage giving naruto something I don't think so I believe that he will tell naruto how to do what his son could and that is take chakra from allies instead of giving it to them
