Lately, a lot of pro-Itachi threads have popped up claiming that Itachi is stronger than Madara, Obito and Sasuke. The main points of these peoples' arguments have been totsuka, izanami occasionally tsukuyomi. I am now going to explain why these still do not put Itachi in the lead.
1. Itachi's totsuka would not be able to pierce another susanoo (especially not perfect susanoo). Having said that, Itachi would not be able to "totsuka blitz" Madara and Sasuke. Furthermore, Itachi's susanoo doesn't even have legs. Therefore, Madara and Sasuke's susanoos could simply kick and stomp on Itachi's. They also have better mobility due to having legs. In addition, their yasaka magatamas are stronger since Sasuke covers his in enton and Madara shoots a larger quantity of magatamas that undergo more powerful explosions upon contact. Sasuke also shoots a larger quantity as well as enton arrows. You may be thinking that Itachi could just shield himself with the yata mirror, but if Sasuke and Madara shoot or attack the head of Itachi's susanoo, then Itachi would have to lift the shield up to protect the head. This in turn would leave the midsection open for attack.
As for Obito, he could just kamui through totsuka if we are talking about prejin Obito. He could simply destroy the sword and shield with onmyodon if we are talking about 10 tails Obito. Remember, Itachi didn't have senjutsu as far as we know (and Sasuke's susanoo sword was supported by Naruto's senjutsu when it broke the nunoboku sword). If you're thinking that the sword and shield can not be broken, remember that onmyodon was said to defy logic and it is supported fact by both Hiruzen and Tobirama (and Obito himself) that onmyodon destroys anything that is hit with onmyodon (that is not supported by senjutsu) and it negates ninjutsu. Susanoo is a ninjutsu (and Obito even broke Sasuke's susanoo before with onmyodon) and the totsuka and yata are still items that are not supported by senjutsu.
2. This one applys to Madara and Obito. They both have wood style. Their wood style jutsus can be pretty sizeable (much larger than susanoo). With these giant wood styles, Madara and Obito could crush Itachi's susanoo (literally, not figuratively). If you are thinking that Itachi could simply cut any trees that wrap around him like he did with Orochimaru's snakes, remember that a forest is a lot thicker denser and tougher than 8 skinny snakes. Plus, the trees just keep coming in larger and larger quantities with wood style, unlike the snakes. Furthermore, there is the flower world jutsu. Madara could simply put Itachi to sleep with that. You must also think about wood dragon. Wood dragon (as proven by a recent chapter) siphons chakara and negates ninjutsu. Go back to chapter 656 if you don't believe me. This includes susanoo. (By the way, Obito has used wood dragon too with the shinju. He may be able to do it by himself as well).
Additionally, Madara's meteors are not to be ignored.
3. Madara and Obito's fire styles are superior to Itachi's. I know that Itachi has water style, but we have not seen him do any water style big enough to extinguish Madara and Obito level fire styles. As for Sasuke, he surpasses Itachi in amaterasu.
4. Itachi's amaterasu would have the same effect on Madara as Sasuke's did : No effect.
5. Madara, Obito and Sasuke would be able to see through Itachi's genjutsu at this point (including tsukuyomi). Especially Obito, since the juubi/ gedou mazou could disturb Obito's chakara and he already has MS and senju Dna anyway.
Madara (and Obito if he ever thought to use the rinnegan) could absorb any ninjutsu that Itachi used against them.
Itachi had very low stamina and he suffered from the side effects of MS.
Finally, for the big one: Izanami! Izanami is a sacrificial power! This means that it is not a testament of Itachi's skill! Just about anyone could beat a powerful opponent by sacrificing their life or a large part of their arsenal! Furthermore, it is not even exclusively Itachi's jutsu! It is an Uchiha jutsu! For all we know, Madara and Obito can use it too! Having Itachi jump straight to Izanami in a versus thread and saying that Itachi is stronger after that, is like saying that I am stronger than Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee if I go to their houses and suicide bomb myself. What do these two scenarios have in common? They both involve a situation where a fighter uses some sacrificial technique that anyone in a population can use![B/] (that population is the Uchiha clan in the case of Izanami). The bottom line is, a suicide bombing does not mean that you have skill or power (especially not one that many people can use). Furthermore, if he uses Izanami, then you can kiss your beloved totsuka and yata good bye because Itachi would lose both one MS eye jutsu and susanoo. That is basically half of his arsenal! Finally, you are insulting Itachi by having him jump straight to Izanami. You are basically saying that he is so weak that he can not win a legitimate fight without sacrificing his arsenal and vision. That is all I have to say. Share your thoughts, and remember: No anger. Only civil debate please. Thank you. P.S. I forgot to mention that Madara could make a susanoo clone army.
