The reason why Hyuuga did not get many upgrades in p2 n there potential locked..

First we should star with there elemental potential..now i see people wondering if the hyuga can even use elemental abilities purely because it was never shown in the manga which is just part of kishi not spendin time to explore the epic potential these cqc monsters posses for instance lets take a look at the filler of hinata trainin to blend her gentle fist chakra with the gentle movement of waterhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0beWGCwo6M..makes sence that water would be her elemental because of her calm and subtle nature,this fightin style sets hinata apart from neji in that she can move more fluid and with more graze because of her elemental nature which compliments the gentle fist style perfectly and gives room for major upgrades such as thishttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVPxOH2godU..which would make one hell of a scene,tho not ver gentle lol..Now in terms of neji,raiton along with wind seems to fit him the most given the fact of kakashi's statement about jonin possessing up to 2 elements..

Water isn't a bad fit.
However,given the style she has wind would be much more suitable.

Anyway i don't know what makes you think hyuga are unable to learn elemental ninjustu
As far as standard natures go its not worth training when they have their dojustu and fighting style to worry about.
Now after one masters those domains elemental justu would be a great way to enhance their techniques however the series does not focus on them so whether anyone from the clan successfully blended them together will always be a mystery.

But,once again there is nothing stopping a hyuga from learning the five basic elements.

thats absurd neji could see 800 meters in any direction with his byakugan a distance that outshines all other hyuga not too mention he could bend the light to see around corners

And you think the clan as a whole is "locked down" because they don't use standard chakra natures over their KKG ?

its seems there is a small miscalculation in wat u think im saying..now i didnt say that the hyuga cant use elemental abilities i marly said these abilities remained in the dark for all of p2 while these abilities were used in fillers to logically blend and compliment the hyuga style,for instance hinata could hav water/wind,while neji and hiashi would hav raiton/wind..there potential is locked because they can potentially hav way more if not locked by uchiha kishi..
