since there are threads about hashirama vs hiruzen.
I thought i'd be nice enough to help you people understand whats going on.
We'd start from the very beginning all the way back to the first hokage.
There are many generations that has come and passed since the first hokage.
Hashirama built Konoha along with many other Senjus and Uchihas to inherit the "will of fire."
During the reign of the first hokage, his skills along with many other Senjus we're quite renowned and fear along side many other Uchiha clan members.
He had skills that we're quite unique, effective and fearsome.
As time passed, the first Hashiramas reign ended and Tobirama was elected to be the 2nd Hokage.
As time went on, the "god-like" skills of hashirama can only be heard as stories from elderly.
as time kept passing by, "chinese whispers" were passed on about hashiramas skills and abilities to the point that his skills were only regarded as fables and stories.
very much like the sage of the six paths, generations come and go to the point that people started doubting his skills and existence as there are no more eye witnesses to these great skills and abilities.

As time passed by, during Hiruzens reign..
He demonstrated great skills and abilities, he mastered all of the known techniques that konoha has to offer during his reign.
It was written in the data book that he was the "most loved" hokage in history due to his fatherly loved towards his people.
He was loved and feared at the same time due to his great skills and idealistic point of views.
At this point in time, Hashirama's Skills are just now fables and myths due to the generation gap.
However, during the time that they're alive they have witnessed someone with great skills, intellect and passion towards his people.
thus giving him the title "God of Shinobi".
As Shikamarus dad once said during the Ino-Shika-Cho formation to defeat one of the gold brothers.
"Legends are always being exaggerated. The time will come when one day, someone will surpass them."
So what do we know about Hashirama? not many aside from the fact that he defeated Madara and he has skills that can actually defeat Madara.
So, in conclusion.
Hiruzen received the title "God of Shinobi" because of the simple fact that Hashiramas skills were long forgotten and thought of as "fables".
Very much like the existence of the sage of the six paths, some believes in his existence, some doesn't.
I understand that majority of you are fan-boys, 12 - 15 year olds that lacks comprehension and would make a completely immature remark so gl!
p.s Please dont talk about Hashiramas skills or Hiruzens skills and abilities, if you start talking about their skills that just completely suggests that you lack comprehension for this thread.
