The Uzumaki represent quantity, the Uchiha represent quality. If Uzumaki heritage made an attack stronger, Naruto would have demolished Sasuke's chidori at every clash, but Sasuke's attack despite being weaker managed to cancel out Naruto's Rasengan due to Sasuke's potent chakra.
