The reason we don't see slug sages as much and sage elements

I think slug sages are the rarest ones because it's the most dangerous sage school and the reason why tsunade never attempted to learn slug sage mode. And the reason it's the most dangerous based off the sage element needed to activate it.

We see for toad sages they have to immerse themselves in toad oil to learn to sense sage chakra.

While I think snake sages have to immerse themselves in snake venom, that's why the great snake sage eats those who can't handle it because they end up dying from it and same is true of orochimarus curse seal venom people die because of it for same reason.

I think the sage element for slugs is acid and that's why no one hardly attempts to learn it because you would have to immerse yourself in slug acid and survive. It's possible hashi learned because it might of had the regenerative properties to handle the acid.

Well each sage takes the property of their summon so being a slug sage would pretty much make you invisible

I mean it's completely possible. Fact is there's very little mentioned at all of why/how/what/who even has their own Sage temple, so there's not much that can be disputed lol

Well it's a fact that slugs have their own sage school

And realistically power wise slugs might be the best attacks don't work on them and they can spit acid how can the other two sage schools compete

I tot Sage Mode is an exclusive feat among toads and toad users. Then came Kabuto with Dragon Sage Mode, tbh it seemed forced. Apparently, Hashirama and Juugo have their own versions of SM too. What bothers me is the constant iteration of the existence of Slug Sage Mode for the reason that it should exist bec Toads (Jiraiya) and Snakes (Orochimaru) seem to have it, and therefore, Slugs (Tsunade) should too.

I mean, I'm fine with the idea, but not with the constant overhyping. They are called Sannin bec they earned it from Hanzo for lasting a battle against him. Sannin=\=Sennin btw.

Iirc though, I think Katsuyu had some sort of Senjutsu, i dunno. But Sakura and Tsunade have yet to display an actual usage of SM if claims about Slug Sage Mode is kind of default feat by having contract with the Almighty Katsuyu. Was it ever confirmed that Hashi used Katsuyu?

As far as we have been given things, Shikkotsu Forest is simply a sacred place equivalent to Ryuchi Cave and Myuboku, both are known for Sage Schools with different methods of granting Sage Mode. What we need to know is how Katsuyu grants SM.
Personally though, I don't see what's the point of Slug Sage Mode. Even the Dragon Sage Mode seemed like an extremely one-time thing and ruined the originality that is Frog Sage Mode. I just think the deadlock should have stayed uniquely different among themselves.

Well they are the 3 main rival summons of the series

And each have their own sage locations it's not that it's sacred but are places to learn sage mode

And so far two out of the 3 have confirmed sage modes

Also like I said to an earlier user slug sage mode could potentially be the best one it could possibly allow so no damage is done and you can spit acid
