That's probably why Madara knows how to use the Edo Tensei (or at least the hand seals), because Hashirama probably told/forced Tobirama to teach Madara how to use the jutsu. I doubt that Tobirama would just tell him how to use it, because he obviously hates Madara.

I don´t think it was for Hashi, simply becasue Hashi new about the technique. Love the theory, and I seriously hope its comes out.

Agreed with the analysis....this would also explain why Edo Madara was able to break out of it. Tobi showed him how to control the edo-tensi but not how to create it.

i have a feeling that tobirama explains to madara that there is another way to go about this than killing hashi or tobirama. They instead offer to try to bring izuna back. Madara accepts and works with them to achieve the goal. But they bring him back and something goes wrong. Which solidifies madaras hate towards hashirama and the senju.

That's not actually a terrible theory. At the very least, we can see several possible reasons here why Tobirama would develop that Jutsu. Maybe Tobirama intended to use it on himself to allow himself to die for peace. Or he intended to use it on Hashirama, because Hashirama would commit suicide before he ever allowed Tobirama to die.

Maybe it actually was for Izuna.

But then again, Madara had his EMS, and would have been able to learn many new secrets from the tablet in the Naka shrine. Maybe he would even have learned the secret about unlocking the Rinnegan, and knew that if he did that he would be able to use Rinne Tensei to revive Izuna himself.

It's very interesting to think about, because Madara says he won't trust Hashirama until one of the Senju brothers dies. But we know from history that he DOES eventually form an alliance with them even though both of the Senju brothers are still alive at the time. I wonder what changes his mind? Is it because he knows about the rinnegan?

Could be because Hashirama promised Madara that he would commit suicide after an alliance has been formed.
And as a result of that promise Tobi created Edo Tensei.
Maybe...
