Yea kishi knew Kakashi could possibly kill Madara. I'm not fanboying im stating facts. Its just a bad matchup and yes kumui is OP at least the way kakashi uses it. If not for Obito sharing the dimension the demonic statue and other enemies would have been erased a long time ago. You can go throughout this whole war and everytime they can possible face each other some BS happens to take kakashi out of the fight. Kishi realizes that kumui is OP and could kill his main villian quickly and thats bad plot so now that Madara is now God mode, kishi all of a sudden lets them face off no hesitation? IMO its obvious kishi didnt want them facing off in the beginning and he did this purposely, anyway Its really no doubt that madara will win (but who knows what plot kishi will pull) I feel like kakashi will die (or come close to it) but he will do some heroic thingy that turns the tide of the war. Oh yea btw the fact that he is now letting them face off is already implying that kumui will not be effective against Madara whether it be because he is to fast, he is resitant to all ninjutsu, or because of his rinnegan paths.

Lol. He has that attitude and I knew it would be hard for people to accept but again its just a bad matchup as it is for alot of people. Many ninja just cant counter kamui its as simple as that. Kishi knew this and delayed until he gave madara a way to fight against this.

Kakashi doesn't start off by using Kamui. He fights using other jutsu. He's a cautious individual.

Madara just starts off by using OP moves that would kill Kakashi right off the bat.

if kakashi is any real threat he uses kumui as he did when Sasuke used his susano against him. Plus if he think the enemy is super powerful he will kamui snipe. For example before we knew tobi was obito they thought he was madara. When Naruto came in and stopped sasuke from getting killed by kakashi. LOL, Kakashi said fine and then said he will take out Madara. He immediately used kamui. No lightnng blade, no kunai, no suiton, no earth wall, no clone, but straight kamui at the beginning.So yeah I think he would not hesitate to use kumai on Madara early. If Madara uses any of his OP crap that kakashi is sure he cannot handle he will use kamui if he has no counter. Plus kakashi now knows how he can use kamui on himself. Also you technically implied that Previous Madara cannot counter kamui since a counter for kamui was not the basis of your argument just the fact that kakashi doesnt spam kamui.
