Before I begin, don't flame me too hard for throwing this idea out there.

With that said, I don't think she wears glasses because Karin wears glasses. Yes many of you would say Sasuke and Sakura never had vision problems and Karin did, but what if that is not really the case.

What if the blame is because of Sasuke?

I'm sure many have forgotten this, but at one point, Sasuke was almost completely blind. Remember there was a time when Sasuke awakened his new eyes and spammed them to where he could no longer see? Then he got a magical eye transplant and problem fixed. the reason Sasuke can see so well now is because of Itachi's eyes. If he never got that eye transplant and had a kid, many of you would think it would be very logical Sarada would be wearing glasses.

Itachi's eyes didn't affect Sarada's DNA, but Sasuke's bad eyes before the transplant did affect her DNA.

What do you all think?

This seems very possible. Maybe Sarada is suffering from blindness, with the bad eyes.

I don't think the ME blindness is in the genes. The blindness happens because of overuse of MS.

I don't think MS blindness is relevant here unless Sarada has MS too.

And why not? Sasuke was still blind when he didn't have MS activated. Did he just become able to see perfectly when he was just in 3 tome and only blind with MS? It is very probable that the overuse of MS affected him to the point it passed these genes on to his daughter.

Usage of MS sealed his eyes, but most likely did nothing to the genes as implied by the Itachi's description. It's like stabbing your eyes with a knife in real life, your eyes are damaged beyond repair but it does not alter the genetic information of your DNA.

That's a valid point. It is really difficult to say what magical powers can and can't do to eyes since we don't have that in our universe or even eye transplants.

What about this thought?
Let's say you are a skinny child and your mom and dad were skinny as well. You then got fat to the point of being over obese. You marry someone who is skinny and their parents were also skinny. He became fat as well. Then you guys have a fat child. This is something that happens all the time in our universe, but by logic, this shouldn't happen. Over time, the DNA became affected and altered because of obesity. Who is to say this can't happen to someone because of overuse of MS abilities from a fictional universe? It is probable.

But yeah, it was just a random thought I had and wanted others opinions. I could care less if it is the case or not.

He forced himself into blindness that would not have naturally occured, therefore it has no affect on his genes.

Blindness was not in his natural born genetic pool so he wouldn't pass that trait on to his off spring.
