And naruto being the name of the manga means nothing, I learned that ever since kishi decided to not make naruto the reincarnation of the sage, but instead to make naruto and sasuke both reincarnations of the sons.
I believe he did this to finalize them on equal terms, they are equal in power, importance, everything.

And again, I'm not saying sasuke can chibaku tensei naruto (using him as a core), but I am saying from our information we have now there's no reason to consider it impossible.

I appreciate a well thought out reason of why you feel as though Naruto neg-diffs this. We've gotten a bit too many threads on people bashing and underestimating both Naruto and Sasuke. Both of them has fair chance of killing each other. Feats or not at this point, Naruto has a power advantage, while Sasuke has the strategic advantage. I apologize for my rudeness, but really.... I hope you're not like the other people who are actually crazy enough to believe a neg-dif victory or a death between the main character & Deuteragonist will happen.

And Sasuke is Kishimoto's most difficult character to design whom always had rather dynamic changes, and being the fact Sasuke's character design came LAST in the Uzumaki Chronicles, will most likely be the same in The Last.
