The reason behind the creation of ET??

I've been hearing people saying if tobirama waz a good guy,then why create a dark tech as the edo tensei??Well,in my opinion,..May be,the reason why he created ET was that he came to know of madara's existance after he was presumed dead OR he came to know of a bigger threat against the ninja world/konoha in which no one could stand against except hashirama or some deceased hero(just saying),..But then before he could master the tech he died OR may be he intentionally left the jutsu incomplete for an unknown reason.In summary,the edo tensei was created to help counter a significant threat to the ninja world/konoha,but not for personal fame or glory...Love to hear your opinions.

he was the one that made it able for a dead person to be brought back with a sacrifice, its not that he realised half way that he would need a sacrifice. he created it to win wars, he created it for the same reason Kabuto left Asuma's personality intact. Emotional warfare!
