[Discussion] The reason as to why kaido wants to die

(maybe) so kaido's rival was wb , when we found out that shanks was fighting kaido , lets say that kaido had his wish of wanting to die in that time , why didn't he fought shanks? he's big and i bet he had his df... (if he has 1 ofc) so why didn't he fought shanks? shanks came to marineford WITHOUT A SCRATCH against A BEAST CALLED KAIDO , the guy that when it's 1 vs 1 physical strenght kaido is always the victor!

so , how come kaido didn't fought shanks if wb it's his rival and stuff? after all , shanks is has strong as wb , or maybe so... and since jack loves to fight , that means that kaido loves it as well , since he mentioned wb and he wants to pick up a war and stuff , my guess is this: he wants to pick up a war so that his love to fight wb , comes back by fighting EVERYONE , since worlds strongest man = everyone. and if you're gonna ask "oh why didn't he fought bb , well , maybe bc he's a coward and kaido doesnt deal with cowards very well...

what do you guys think?

conclusion , he wants to make a war because he's bored that he didn't found the same passion in fighting when he had when he was fighting wb...

Not really,for some reason he wants to die also he doesn't intent to lose against weaker ones,he also has interests in OP i think his feelings are mixed,he also wants to become the P.K that's why he is haunting Kinemon and the rest however the truth is he wants to find someone who is strong enough to kill him and i think Shanks isn't the strongest,i believe all 4 Yonkos are preparing to kill each other since no one of them can really destroy each other also bad results would appear for all sides becuase they're kinda equal in terms of power so they're waiting for the right moment...
I believe Kaido wants to die however has honour,he can't die by the weaker ones .
EDIT:Many people who have mental disorders and want to die they would still fight back,some people can't just give up LOL
So in 1 way he wishes to die,in the another one he wants to become the P.K

Second, even the most insane power-houses in the New-World would not want to take on a Yonko unprepared. Kaido was on his way to MF for WB but seeing Shanks in front of him unexpectedly would have easily made him reconsider his plans, and that's the most probable scenario that might have happened...

To be honest even after all that we have learned from the Zou arc i think Kaido maybe an Honorable fighter and the reason he wanted to fight WB because he was a man was man and had no scars on his back unlike bb. And Shanks has one arm so simular to when Luffy fought Fugitora he would have probably felt that it would be unfair so he didnt fight Shanks and let him pass
