I mean he barely shows up and isn't with Boruto like the Gaiden manga shows as well as the Anime.

He is basically a Wall Flower, which leads me to my NEXT POINT.



No Mitsuki interest = less Boruto "Sun" interest = Less whatever Orochi wanted Mitsuki to do = less on the mystery of Boruto's eye.



We are MISSING ONE OF THE if not THE main plot of the whole series.

It's also in it's early stages, and with one chapter a month it'll take a while to peak and the anime has to generate material until it gets more developed and they have the gaiden too of course

Mitsuki isn't relevant in the current Manga

which means his character plot isn't shown in the series

his story revolves around him finding the truth/potential/reason for Boruto being his SUN


and Boruto's dojutsu is part of it

i think it's the heavy conversation and slow pace to more action that everyone hates

Boruto anime is building hype off the nue and the doujutsu plot but take that away and everyone hates it(the more fillerish episodes for example)

I agree that last month's chapter was nice in content and character growth

the Anime sometimes has that with this recent episode between Hanabi and Boruto and Naruto/Hiashi but they quickly stopped and made the rest of the episode the same old monster of the day plot

Kishi's somewhat involved with the anime, not as much with the manga. Also, Icky of the manga really sucks, so that's another reason why the anime > manga.

Well, an interesting thing with Mitsuki that we keep seeing in the manga that he will be in conversation, about to say something interesting about himself, usually to Sarada, and he gets cut off. So i think there will be a lot of character developement for him at some point that they are teasing at.
