The real reason Orochimaru attacked the leaf?

You know there was this mysterious panel where Sasuke asks him for his real reason.


Maybe Orochimaru/Danzo worked together all the time (Helped Danzo with the Sharingan Arm/The letter from Sai) and he attacked Konoha to kill Hiruzen and help Danzo take control over the village.
So maybe he cared about the village in the same way like Danzo?!

After he was turned down in favour of Minato I doubt he cared about the village the same way Danzo did.
