I believe it that Madara is Madara but has used a reincarnation jutsu like Orochimaru to transfer his soul into another body. It would explain why Itachi said that he was a shell of his former self. i mentioned that same line in the 490 Spoilers thread coz i was thinking the samething it just gives it away right there that he is using someone elses body. Glad i aint the only one to catch it maybe now others will pay attention.

Yeah i had a thread on this a few months ago & if he is in a diffrent body then i think it is someone we would recognize other wise why would he wear a mask i think it might even be someone we trust i have no idea who it might be though

Obito's body would not have grown as he died in his teen years..

Madara's body is definitely in that casket. I am going to go with Shisui's body, because of the body-flicker, but I definitely could see Obito having unlocked some potential through his selflessness and out of desperation.

My other thought is that maybe The Sage of the Six Paths is in the casket. Either way, it sucks that Kishi is stringing us on like this. And we will definitely need to figure out why Kisame called Tobi Madara when he got that look at him.

God, I'm gonna laugh if it turns out that he is in obito's body.

All those flamers saying that it wasn't possible are gonna feel like a bunch of asses

The more I think about it Obito seems to make the most sense, however there are plot points that are still missing if it is Obito.

Why would Obito attack Konoha with the 9 tails?

If the war was over by then why didn't he return to Konoha if he was alive?

Why not just go after Kakashi and get his other eye back?


Then again if Obito's ability was to make parts of his body "enter a different dimension" then the Rock that fell on him could of phased right through him after it fell on him. He could of realized this ability to make parts of himself go into another dimension when he was first hit with the Rock and then escaped to that dimension to heal himself. When he has been attacked recently by amaterasu and by Torune's bugs he received damage that hurt him, but he has yet to take damage on his left side. Suigetsu attacked him with his sword but he blocked it with left arm with no damage. We have yet to see his left eye....
Also it's curious how Kakashi's powers seems to be the opposite of Tobi's. Which is interesting because Sauske's left eye makes the black flames, Sausuke's Right eye puts them out. Oh well I guess we will see soon enough.

obito is dead but madara is probably just in his body and madara just changed bodys like oro cause he prob got injured badly with the 1st hokages fight and decided to use someone elses body..maybe IMO
