but Orochimaru.
you just cant kill him no matter what you do. burn him, put him to an eternal sleep, he'll come back alive.
i wouldnt be surprised if he's a direct descendant of the s06p.
his ingenuity and skills. he's definitely the most powerful of all the other sannins.
he has cheated death not just once but repeatedly, using other corpses as another vessel for himself.
if he can't do that, he can just reincarnate in one of his many cursed marks.
on kishimoto's side, i think orochimaru is his way of bending the plot once he decided to change something.
he has defied death it self by coming back to life more than once and to add insult to the injury, hack through the shinigamis stomach, take his arms back and pull out 4 of the hokages with it.
see, i've known orochimaru as a resilient one with great skills to compete against jiraiya and tsunade at the same time.
i just wasnt expecting him to come back to life over and over again.
Orochimaru has achieved his main goal in life, achieve immortality to learn all of the jutsu there is.
He is the most successful of all the other sannins, followed by jiraiya who pretty much shaped the entire plot with his ideology of "prophecy child" who will save the world.
