The REAL Facts that Disprove the Obito Theory

In light of the recent thread about failed information on Tobi not being Obito I have created a list of facts that COMPLETELY disprove the theory that Tobi could be Obito. I have also made a list that suggest the information is inconsistent with Obito being Tobi, but still don't completely disprove. I will add more as more information is revealed. Also post other facts that I may have missed and I will add them to the list.


Undeniable Facts
1. Tobi has been revealed to be an old man. Obito is Kakashi's age. Kakashi is not an old man. Therefore Obito is not an old man. So Obito cannot be Tobi.-> Tobi hasn't been revealed to be anything or any age, we as reasonable people see his baggy eyes and assume he is old. People age differently, not saying Tobi is Obito but this "fact" doesn't "completely discredit the theory"

2. Tobi fought with the fourth Hokage Minato just a few years after Obito supposedly died during Kyuubi attack. Obito was still a child during that part of history while Tobi was an adult, this also goes hand in hand with #1.

3. Tobi claims to have given the Rinnegan to Nagato as a child and that it was originally "his" (referring to Tobi). Nagato was born many years before Obito was born. So Obito could not have given Nagato the Rinnegan.-> It is possible,though unlikely, that there are two(or more) masked men, one being the original who fought Minato another could be Obito. If this were the case the masked man who fought Minato could have went and retrieved the body of one of Minato's students, if he held that big of a grudge against the man who stopped his plans.

Facts that don't Completely Disprove the Theory
1. Obito was crushed by a rock and presumed dead, so Obito cannot be Tobi.

2. Obito had just awakened his Sharingan and was still in the process of training to become a great ninja yet he was able to go toe-to-toe with his own sensei Minato in only a couple of years.

3. Tobi controlled the Kyuubi with his Sharingan. Tobi also knew about the requirements necessary to release a Bijuu from its host, including when is the best time to do so. Obito could not have obtained all of this information in such a short time. Especially considering his Sharingan eye was crushed and the other one gone, so he could not have read the Uchiha tablet.

4. Tobi controlled the fourth Mizukage Yagura through genjutsu. This is an inconsistency with timeline and talent.

I'm not sure of the EXACT age of Nagato I just know that he awakened his Rinnegan before Obito was born. That's how I know he's older than Kakashi.

According to that logic, EVERYTHING that Tobi has said or done was actually done by Madara seeing as he was pretending to be Madara, including the kyuubi attack, helping itachi slay the clan etc. We can't pick and choose those things. Tobi said he did it so it was him. If not, then he had to have lied about everything else as well to make your theory correct.

That is different because we know Tobi did it in the guise of Madara. The stories that he said like how he fought Hashirama doesnt mean it was Tobi who fought him it was Madara just like how Madara gave Nagato the rinnegan.

Well that was proven to be false when we found out he wasn't really Madara. Tobi has done acts "AS" Madara. When he controlled the 4th Mizukage that was him and he claimed to be Madara then. Tobi is doing and saying everything to keep his story consistent. He is deceiving with lies AND the truth.

The point is everything he's said has not all been the real Madara's acts. Some of those acts he's actually done himself but just using Madara's name. So to say that it was Madara who actually gave Nagato the Rinnegan is a bit inaccurate.

Jiraiya trained Minato and Nagato. I'm fairly sure, but not positive, that Nagato was trained first, so that would make Nagato older than Minato, who is clearly older than Obito and Kakashi. There's at least 1 generation difference in age between Nagato and Obito.

1.We don't know Tobi's age and all we know is his face is all wrinkled/scarred. Itachi's face has wrinkled and he's fairly young.
2.You only come to the assumption of Tobi being an adult by his height, plus Naruto and Sasuke have grown dramatically in strength in a couple of years.
3.Tobi was still acting as Madara, and was referring to the fact that Nagato has Madara's rinnegan.

Wait a minute, why are you saying kakashi was a boy when tobi attacted the village? He was more of a teenager at most. Itachi was a child and Sasuke was a baby. If Tobi faught minato back then, he would be a teenager. This could be why he lost to minato BUT knew a method on how to counter attack his abilities....then again he was amazed at his abilities when they fought...hmmm

Im not sure why people seem to believe this!, By your logic Kakashi was around Naruto's age during the time that Obito died (first half of Naruto). So around 13

So your saying Kakashi was 13 when the fourth gave his life for his new born son Naruto?

So then when Kakashi began training Team 7 he was only 26 or close to this age? I doubt this very much! especially when Guy is a similar age to Kakashi and yet he's referred to as an old man....but by your logic Kakashi and Guy are only around 29

Also that side of Obito was crushed so it stands to reason that he'd be disfigured there too. We dont actually know Tobi's age and hes been able to act very youthfull during the emergence of Akatsuki, hardly possible for an old man.

Finally if Kakashi was 13 and then it had been a few years after Obito's 'death' then he would have been fully grown and able to stand level with his old master (although Obito would have to have changed Alot to go against his old master and steal his son lol)

I dont know if he is Obito....i do hold some faith that it may be but i get tired of all the flaming lol im leaning more towards the Zetsu thing at the moment.

However just wanted to point out the flaw in your arguement there XD

Kakashi was 26 years old pre-timeskip. This is a fact straight from the Databook
Naruto was 13 pre Timeskip. Also from the Databook.

Kyuubi incident happened on Naruto's date of birth. You do the math.
