Alright, to start off with the basic connections, we know that Kaguya Clan members had similar forehead markings to the one Kaguya has.
As well as how Kimimaro and apparently a select few Kaguya Clan members had the same Kekkai Genkai Kaguya uses
But another connection I noticed is how Kaguya and Kimimaro have been shown to follow the wills of others. Kaguya following Black Zetsu and Kimimaro following Orochimaru.
These two follow the orders and will of someone else (and yes BZ is technically Kaguya but he seems off imo). Which brings me to my next connection
I think the Kaguya Clan got their thirst for war and blood shed from Kaguya, since she wanted an army for herself.
Kaguya wanted an army most likely just to cause war and destruction, exactly what the Kaguya Clan wanted. Kaguya must have created Black Zetsu to help control that habit and control most her true power. This is similar to what the Kaguya Clan did to Kimimaro, who later on inherited Orochimaru's will. Maybe if Black Zetsu dies soon Kaguya's real power will be revealed.
