raikage has the lighting Armour so he gets abnormal speed, strength, and his chakra is also on tailed beast levels.

The byakugan will give him clear insight of his surroundings with only one blind spot which you can also protect your self from.The raikage has the speed to avoid any attack if he knew the direction since the byakugan can tell him.

also he would know when to avoid a jutsu of too high scale quickly and counter it since the byakugan sees the chakra levels of the user.

the raikage already has immense strength just the raikage foocusing on your pressure points is suicide.
imagine the raikage hand shooting chakra blast from his hand when he is on tailed beast levels.

also the raikage can gain sensing from the byakugan so he can just use it and use his lighting armour to get to any opponent he wants fast within his givin range of the byakugan.

since he has the byakugan he can see genjutsu since he will have a mastery of his own chakra.

the raikage also had the legendary items too

basically if the raikage had the byakugan he would increase his defense genjutsu,defense and offense taijutsu,sensing and visula awareness.Also with the legendary items of the sage of six path's he would be the strongest shinobi.
they wanted these the byakugan first so that they can beat the hogake and his anbu to tkae over knoha and then sand village,mist and then onoki.
the 3rd and raikage and 4th raikage were smart right.

Just because he has the byakugan does not mean he would be able to perform all of the defensive and offensive abilities of the hyuga clan. We have seen others get a byakugan and not have the gentle fist they merely pick up the sensing abilities. Part of what makes the Hyuga clan so good is their taijutsu ability and being able to "push" chakra out from points on their bodies, this is a trait that seems to be exclusive to their clan as we have not seen anyone else use it. It follows the same logic as we see with people trying to implant the sharingan into non Uchiha, while it does give them power ups they are nowhere near as capable as the clan is at controlling the abilities. Or to say it differently it is not just about the eyes you also have to have the body and blood of the clan to truly excel at using the jutsus.

raikage can use heavenly rotation to block any attack aas long as he has enough chakra to keep it swirling.
