Pyramids all over the world have long captured the attention of people everywhere. There are many theories about how ancient societies were able to build these colossal structures.

In the video below, Egyptologists demonstrate that the pyramids in Egypt are likely much older than we currently think. Accepted research says they were built in 2500 B.C., but new research indicates they're up to 12,000 years old!

So who built the pyramids and how were they built? Why is Orion's Belt aligned so perfectly with the pyramids? Did extraterrestrials assist in the construction of the pyramids?

What do you think?

The pyramids are very interesting.
I love the ancient egypt time for its architecture, not for the society and such.

Dint think aliens are involved. Many problems with that explanation the primary one being its too big of an assumption. It's like jumping from point A to point Y instead of point A to point B.

The pyramids of Giza were a way to collect the natural electrical current of the planet.

"In the work of quite a number of important theorists, including Christopher Dunn, it has been suggested that the Great Pyramid was originally built to be an active power plant. That the primary base-line dimension of the structure is harmonically integrated to the earth via a 1/14400 ratio, and that the latitude placement has been shown to possess a most decisive association to the Earth tropical year frequency also; there is indeed significant support for this idea."

Also there is some kind of tunnel like system inside that helps create some kind of a reaction that produces energy.

I remember watching something about the pyramids and their alignments to space.

Can't remember the explanation though.

The Ancient Egyptians who built the pyramids weren't the ones who drew the hieroglyphics. The hieroglyphics were done much later by a younger less developed civilization. Those who built the pyramids had much more knowledge and used technology that in some ways is beyond what we have today.

Copper tools can't build pyramids the history channel thing is BS.

The pyramids and other edifices were built in certain points due to the belief in certain 'esoteric energies' being in high concentration in those areas, what these energies are or what they were used for remains a mystery. Some say they were built to channel or gather ambient electricity or some other energy source, others believe they are meant to be portals to different worlds.

As extraordinary as they are, I don't think there was anything special involved in their construction.

In nature it is not at all uncommon to create extremely complex structures from simple rules at the level of individual interactions (a phenomenon known as emergence). The social behaviour of insects can seem impossibly complex when looked at as a whole, but often the insects individually are following relatively simple rules.

Great works of architecture are found in every part of the world, and many of them were made before modern technology. The grand temples of pretty much any religion are usually amazing works of architecture. The difference between those temples and the pyramids is one of size, not complexity in general imo.

Weren't the pyramids used as tombs for pharaohs?

Yes a few held the corpses of kings and queens but most didn't. Also the pyramids weren't built just to be tombs.

You think copper tools, palm fiber ropes and wood carts could shape and carry blocks that weigh 1000 tonnes?

the pyramids? They are decoration, their purpose is to honour the pharaoh . Its clear that such accurate mastering of geometry is rarely seen by an ancient people. Except for the mayan civilisation that had Abnormal knowledge of the celestial movements. If our depiction of the pharaoh is true then their morale standards must be very....scary.

Maybe they used Orion's belt as some sort of map description since stars in those times told more than words. We still lack their ancient notes and calculations that were burned through 5000 of years. Too bad ancient Egypt only gives questions, and few answers.

Fun fact the color of the Egyptian flag is red black and white, the outer coverings of the Pyramids originally were a black stone, a white limestone and a red stone.

I want to go Egypt.

Nice :win:

Ot: the pyramids were built when the wheel didn't even exist. Also the weight of some of these blocks are just insane today there are only two cranes in the whole world that would be able to lift such stones and people want us to believe they built them using nothing but slaves. If humans could do that in those times logic would tell you that our own technology would be even greater now, but even today we can not match the greatness of the past.

Idk, I haven't read much if at all on this topic. But the giant Buddha in Afghanistan and Stonehenge seem to pose similar engineering problems. Though the pyramids were many times more difficult to make than those things, no doubt.

Indeed. I find it absurd that people believe copper tools could build such structures. They don't have to be super advanced but those who built them must certainly have technology beyond mere copper tools.
