Before I get into my thoughts on the chapter am I the only one still addicted to the series?
This chapter added a new layer to world created in this series it just not the Mama's that are held accountable for harvest but the mothers of the mother or grandma and she has so much faith in Isabella to get the job done alone that they got rid of her, but she was a risk because she gave away knowledge of the real world and turn a blind eye to there escape to her desperation to be a mama put the grandma in jeopardy.
Also this chapter allowed me to sympathize with the mothers because they way they saw it there only option of survival was this path so it's hard to blame them their circumstance made them heartless.
Also it's ambigious if krone really died hopefully we get a clear confirmation.
Also something I'm starting to question now is why do these monsters kill these people with flowers to the heart, I understand to them the brain is the best part so the heart makes sense to go for the kill but I don't think having a punctured heart is an automatic death so how do they stop the kid from screaming does that thing have a special toxin because that's the only practical reason that makes sense to me to do it.
But overall good chapter.
