"Big 3" is One Piece > Assassination Classroom > Kingdom, at least for 2016. Since Assassination classroom ended then AoT will fall in but MHA has no chances and neither does TPN or Boruto.

-MHA doesn't even sell no where near Haikyuu and it has a better timeslot too.
-TPN isn't selling that well
-Boruto is a joke.

The next "Big 3" is One Piece > AoT > Kingdom. Not a big fan of AoT but it'll reach top 3 thanks to anime.

It was purely the fans, western fans at that. It just means the top 3 selling manga. It's kinda silly and it was strictly meant for One Piece, Naruto & Bleach at their peak time.

mha and tpn does sell well with being not more than 200 chapters together and the numbers going higher and higher

Yes because big 3 is just a term for top 3 selling manga, not their quality. Whether you like it or not, One Piece will remain #1 for a very long time. AoT will stay there till it ends and Kingdom will be a 100 volume series so it'll stay in top 3/5 for a long time. That's enough time to outlive MHA which was confirmed to be around a 400 chapter series if I'm not mistaken. It'll make matters worse (or better depending on how you look at it) if Kingdom gets a reboot.

MHA has zero chances of being top 3 and very small chances for even being top 5. It can't even surpass Haikyuu's sales and it never will. If it can't even surpass Haikyuu which is top 5 then how can MHA be part of the "big 3"? As a franchise (anime/manga/merchandise), MHA is like #19 in 2016 so yeah no chances on that. Scratch that off the list asap.

TPN sells like what 100k-ish in a month? That's not that special. MHA was doing better prior to it's anime. TPN doesn't even sell that well, yeah it has no anime but it won't reach top 3 or top 5. I don't see how a 100k+ volume seller can be compared to series that sells million copies per volume.

TPN/MHA are just overly praised. I'm glad they aren't top 3 or top 5.
