the problem with yaata mirror is that the Itachi fandom abuse Kishi not showing the limits of the mirror on panel in order to extrapolate the mirrorʻs hyperbole to its literal meaning.

A wind blade was stated to be unstoppable
Sandaime raikageʻs body was stated to be able to withstand any ninjutsu
Even neji said ʻchakra constructs become meaningless in front of my jyuukenʻ

Yaata is no different, it simply never got the chance to go up against something strong enough to break it as the greatest thing its been tested with was a couple of paper bombs.

The problem is how people keep bringing up a few lines that are several years old and are clearly just the hyperbole of the back then current situation. How often was it said that this or that technique is unbelievably powerful, can beat anyone, can't be broken etc.

Just think of how Susanoo (in base form, mind you)) was once called "the ultimate defense" - but Kaguya can rip apart a perfect Susanoo like a teddybear.
