[Discussion] The problem with seastone

Seastone is said to emit the same energy as the sea and drains Devil Fruit users of their energy AND nullifies their abilities. But the sea doesn't actually nullify abilities as we see when Luffy's head can be stretched while unconscious and submerged.

Also the seastone cuffs didn't really drain Marco's energy that much but stopped him from transforming. Not like when we've seen Luffy touch bars of it and fall out.

This made me start wondering what different affects seastone and the sea may have in different scenarios.

Marco got cuffed up in human form so he was human until the cuffs came off but what if he had been in hybrid or phoenix form? Would the seastone revert him out of his DF the way it nullifies logia intangibility?
What if when Jack fell in the ocean, if he had been in elephant form would he revert back to human? If he stayed elephant form does he still have his fishman nature and ability to breathe underwater?

If Enel fell in the water would electricity pass through it? Luffy was still stretchy, Enel should be electric still right?

The big question though, what happens to Brook?

If Brook ever touches seastone or gets cuffed and it nullifies his fruit power does his soul pass on? We need to protect this man.

DF users become immobilized by water and lose their ability to control and activate their abilities. Luffy doesn’t activate his body’s state of rubber, which is why his head could still be stretched.

If you smacked Luffy in the face with sea stone, his body can still stretch from the blow because that’s his default, constant state now.

The only thing in the entire world that utterly removes a DF’s users abilities is the Yami Yami no Mi and death.
