The problem with naruto base

Although my profile is new, i have been on naruto base for a while and I've noticed a lot when viewing the site. On discussion forums, in particular Naruto, there has been so many complaints about long op's on threads. why does it matter if the post is too long? i just finished viewing a post by itachi1000 and it was very well done imo. He posed an important topic, possibly the most important in the whole series, backed his theory on that topic with facts and evidence with the manga, then he gave educated opinions/theories on the topic. Yet the first posts i see are about it being too long and them not reading. First of all these are the same type of people who bash others for not providing what they think is sufficient evidence. Second of all, if its too long and you didn't read then why did you post? this is so annoying because i'm sure there are many members who actually care to see others thoughts on the original poster's opinion. This post is more or less a thank you to the ones who actually post constructive material.

This is internet. People will always troll, I do read if the post is looking good. However if its a wall of text all written together I will not read it.

I know how you feel, I guess people just don't feel like reading a lot anymore. I like to take time and read a long theory that someones' put time and effort into.

yeah a lot of people are dumb like that, i dont really mind if its long, but like if the person who made the thread is only writing BS i can tell just by reading the first couple lines, ill just leave the post, i wont comment or anything. but majority of long posts are pretty interesting. Another thing i think is bad about narutobase is that i havent seen anything new... like all the hottest threads and popular threads never change, gets really boring after a while.

No one needs to shorten their damn theories for you. Stop being lazy and learn how to read a page or two. You act as if it's such a huge burden to read that much, when it's usually hardly anything.
