The Problem With ERASED!!

The manga has 44 chapters each chapter having approximately 40 Pages.

The anime is confirmed to be 12 Episodes

The anime is skipping alot of things since episode 1 , just to fit the manga in 12 episodes

The killer's backstory is skipped for instance . Which is a major point in the manga

Latest episode 11 left out alot of explanations , i read the manga and found that out.

The problem is that the anime should copy paste the manga! They're making the anime watchers lost if i didn't read the manga i would have lost and not understanding anything .

The question is WHY IS THE LIMIT 12 EPISODES???? WHAT KIND OF RULE IS THAT?? WHY NOT JUST ANIMATE EVERYTHING NO MATTER HOW MUCH EPISODES????

But they loved each other >_> and Hiromi was one of Satoru's best friends so he played behind Satoru's back.

It's all about cost, they feel fine risking the cost on 12 episodes, more episodes means more money risked which means they don't want to do that.

It's not really, when you own the company. As a fan, yes it can seem stupid or arbitrary but from the studio's standing those 12 episodes cost a ton of employee salary for months at a time, a ton in electric bills, a ton in supplies and a ton of time that could be used on proven sellers.

I don't know a bunch about the anime production industry but let's assume it takes 4 months for a team of ten people(probably low on both counts) to produce the 12 episodes, that's 40 months of salary that has to be considered in the profit margin of the show being produced on top of all the other expenses and materials needed, so if a show isn't projected at getting a high return because it's popularity isn't as high as they'd like to see they won't take a chance on diverting too many resources to it when they can produce it at a marginal rate.

If the show can gain popularity it can/likely will get a more detailed anime adaptation.

Come on, people. What annoyed me wasn't the sunken ship (as if I ever cared about that), it's that Satoru sacrificed 15 years of his life to save a bunch of kids, and the show somehow rubs it in how they're all doing well and successful - Kenya's a lawyer, Hiromi's a doctor (and they're still in their twenties), Kayo has a family. And Satoru? Yeah, he's learning to walk.

That just annoyed me.
