The Power(S) of the Ohtsutsuki

These 4 questions were raised on another forum about Six Paths, Hamura and Ohtsutsuki chakra, so I’ll be answering them here to my best ability and then posing a few questions myself after my discussion. Keep in mind my responses are all BASED ON MY OWN FINDINGS. BE READY TO READ.

Pure Ohtsutsuki chakra, as you called it, is Kaguya’ chakra. As she is from the Ohtsutsuki main family.
Six Paths chakra is simply Hagoromo’ chakra.


Now part of Kaguya’ chakra was split between her twin sons when they were born. Hagoromo being one son and Hamura being the other. From this we understand that:

Hagoromo’(Six Paths) chakra + Hamura chakra = Recreated Kaguya(Ohtsutsuki) chakra.


1. Is Six Paths Chakra just Otsutsuki Chakra at the end of the day?
2. Was Hagoromo's chakra unique, or is it something that all Otsutsuki possess?


Questions 1 & 2 are related so I’ll answer them together. Yes, Six Paths chakra is Kaguya(Ohtsutsuki) chakra, but only an aspect/ component/ ingredient/ fraction of it. Basically every who’s from Ohtsutsuki main family has this chakra. So while you can say Six Paths Chakra is unique on earth due to not many people having it, the fact is it’s quite common among Ohtsutsuki main family.

Knowing all this, we could now answer questions 3 & 4.

3. Given how strong Naruto and Sasuke got after receiving just half of his power (then probably eclipsing his power in adulthood), is it possible they just got pure Otsutsuki Chakra?

Simple put, Naruto and Sasuke did not get Pure Ohtsutsuki chakra, they each got a fraction(roughly half) of Hagoromo’(Six Paths) chakra. This is why during here fight with team 7, Kaguya saw her own chakra in side them and saw Naruto and Sasuke as her own grandsons.


4. And is Hamura's chakra unique given his chakra can create the Tenseigan if a Otsutsuki (Or Hyuga) has the Byakugan?

Hamura’ chakra is the second half needed to recreate Kaguya’ Pure Ohtsutsuki chakra. So like his brother, the main family likely has his chakra also.


With those questions answers, let’s talk about and focus more on Six Paths chakra. Much like Kaguya, we know that that Hagoromo’ chakra was also split between his sons and their incarnations. From this we understand that:

1. Indra chakra + ashura Chakra = Recreated Hagoromo(Six Paths) Chakra
2. Indra chakra + ashura incarnate chakra = Recreated Hagoromo(Six Paths) Chakra
3. Indra incarnate chakra + ashura chakra = Recreated Hagoromo(Six Paths) Chakra
4. Indra incarnate chakra + ashura incarnate chakra = Recreated Hagoromo(Six Paths) Chakra

While all 4 methods result in Hagoromo’(Six Paths) chakra, the difference between them is quality. The less diluted the chakra, the stronger it is and more potential it has.


A perfect example of this is the awakeneing of the rinnegan. Madara recreated Six Paths chakra using method 4, but with that much dilution, it took decades for it to happen and for him to awaken rinnegan. In Sasuke’ case, not only did he use method 4, he also got Six Paths chakra directly from the source. He received undiluted chakra from the hagoromo himself. This resulted in a chakra of far greater quality, which meant a more powerful chakra with greater potential. It was easily higher in purity than madara’. Which is why Sasuke didn’t have to wait decades to awaken rinnegan, he got his the same day(in less that 12 hours or even 1 hour). He even got to keep his all former ems powers on top of his new unqiue rinnegan powers. That’s what I mean when I say quality of chakra and potential. The same rule applies to Ohtsutsuki chakra.


Another example to prove the value of chakra quality is the few revivals during the war arc. I’m not talking about obito, I talking about the juubi Hagoromo and Kaguya. The juubi was revived in a weakened state, as it never had 9 full biju inside of it during the 4th war. The most I had wasn’t 8 and a half of kurama. Similarly, Hagoromo revived himself briefly using juubi jinchuriki Madara’ lower half that was cut off by Sasuke. This lower half had some Six Paths chakra and the power of kurama inside it. This is why he was able to respawn. Unfortunately since he gave most of his chakra to Naruto and Sasuke, he came back massively weakened. Similarly Kaguya’ resurrection was becuase Six Paths chakra was used(by madara) to outting the world under genjutsu with the power of juubi god tree. Now even though Madara accounted for Hagoromo’ half of Kaguya’ chakra and even though the juubi was almost at full power, Kaguya was revived entirely without any of Hamura’ chakra and not at full power. Kaguya came back at less thank half her usually strength. She barely had any Six Paths chakra and even less Hamura chakra. Her chakra was still largely dispersed and diluted. This quickly revealed how weak she was during her return, and ultimately lead to her defeat and resealing.


Now consider this:
During the fourth war, Naruto also got undiluted Six Paths chakra, and years later during the last, Hinata got undiluted Hamura chakra. Together they married and had Boruto and Himawari. So if the trend of passing on chakra to children continues, this means inside of boruto and himawari is both Six Paths and Hamura chakra, which combined is Recreated Kaguya(Ohtsutsuki) chakra.


Which is what Momoshiki clearly saw in boruto in episode 65. Momoshiki says, “You have strongly inherited the power of the Ohtsutsuki”.
Essentially, boruto’ chakra has a high level of purity. Which in turn means he has great potential for various Ohtsutsuki powers. This would explain Boruto’ seemingly innate genius to learn, master, and develop various jutsu and chakra natures. This also would explain the prophecy he received from both toneri and momoshiki, and jougan. Maybe even karma.

Which only makes me wonder where kawaki fits into all this. Have I figured out the connection between them? Has kawaki also “strongly inherited the power of the Ohtsutsuki”, if so how is that possible?

P.S. for those that question why I didn’t include the shinju or Black zetsu in my equation for Recreated Kaguya(Ohtsutsuki) , that’s because kaguya merged with shinju after Hagoromo and Hamura we’re born. Black zetsu has admitted to being powerless, so husband contribution chakra-wise is questionable.

I stopped after the Indra and Ashura=Six path chakra then and I have to say that there is already some mixed conceptions.

I Kaguya’s chakra IS six path chakra, there’s no way of cutting it because Hagormoo inherited his mother’s chakra.
Because even when you absorbed the jubi which is Kaguya in a transformed state, you still gain six path senjutsu. We don’t call it Ohtutsuki senjutsu, we call it six path senjutsu because that’s the chakra/senjutsu type.

So is Ohtutsuki chakra six path chakra? The answer is yes.

The clan itself leads to 3 different doujutsus, Hamura and Hagormoo each gaining different ones from their mother who had two seperate doujutsus. Also remember that Hagormoo awakened the rinnegan according to Black zetsu, he wasn’t born with it already activated.

Indra chakra+Ashura’s chakra does equal Hagormoo chakra that part is right. But the awakening of the rinnegan with those mixtures of chakra only applies to Indra reincarnates.
Uchiha + Senju dna is also Six path chakra because your mixing both mental and physical energy of the Sage into one creating a Six path power. However if you’re not a Indra reincarnate, you’re not gaining any rinnegan.
And finally Ohtutsuki members clearly have six path chakra because some of them awaken the rinnegan without implanting both halves of the Sage’s power to become one.
Hagormoo deviated from the Ohtutsuki clan so he inherited their ocular power and chakra prowess.

So every Ohtutsuki has Six path chakra, they might call it something different because Hagormoo isn’t the creator like the shinobi people on earth believed him to be.
